Happy 10 year anniversary! I just joined, but I'm having lots of fun and hope this place stays alive for many many many more years to come.
2013-2014 was a time where there were many nostalgic private servers in that era besides Royals that just no longer exist, which makes it really crazy to see the progress and how long Royals has been around ty for sharing the timeline.. I don't remember a lot of my earlier experiences playing tbqh but it kinda brings me back, lol. GOOD TIMES
Crazy to think I've been here on/off since the first anniversary. Nine years ago and the server is still around. Not unlike TalonRO, which I have also played on/off since like 2009, and the server is still around. Really didn't expect either server to last.

Absolutely love that Roadmap/Timeline you made there Joong! As someone who was here from day 1 but fell too busy into IRL and coming back finally after last year thats pretty nice to see how much Royals has grown over the years. It went from Matt one day rounding up friends from Europe maplestory to the biggest, best maplestory private server as far as i see. It is nice knowing i could leave, others too and many new people would come along and make it their own place too and thats whats special about growing a server. You can officially say this server has outlived a whole Decade and i do hope people have enjoyed their time whether its making friends or just scratching that Nostalgic itch like i'll always get myself. Thanks to Matt, Admins & Staff.
Uhhh I remember Skadi and Hacker playing it in 2013, such a nostalgic moment to remember those guys rushing to level 200! I was there, but I do not have any screenshots of it anymore. Happy 10th anniversary everybody! We are getting old!
Been here since 2016, remember the New Source breaking everything - the biggest benefit was the boat rides between continents were free and INSTANT.

The irony in how I'm nostalgic for 2015/16 era now is too funny. Can't believe the progress this server has made. Very cool and glad it's still running!
