Hey, i'm a lvl 72 fp mage. I don't understand how you're supposed to make death teddies 1hp with a lvl 6 poison mist.. they don't die out so quickly.. but poison breath takes too long because you need to risk more hits. please help D:

So basically if you have entry level God level gear, you start one hitting without any buffs at around lvl 175, with average gear at lvl 190. With buffs, about 10 lvls earlier.
And is the elemental wand bonus counted towards the 1285 magic?

 

How do u manage to not get oneshot with maxed meteor at 130? it uses like 10k mana and i have around 11k :S

 

Maxed meteor uses 7k mp per cast. I usually set my automp to use an ale everytime I cast.

 

For the 1285 tma to 1 shot petri fighters, does that include buffs like meditate and mw, or does it have to be without?

 

Doesn't matter. Just get that number regardless of buffs or no buffs.

 

How about the bonus from elemental wand 5?
25% increase in fire dmg = 25% more TMA?
Is that is true, it means that to 1 hit petri using elemental wand 5 I will need at least 964 TMA?

 

No, the calculations already include the bonus damage from the elemental wand so it stands at 1285.

I'm surprised Road of Regrets 3 and 4 are not mentioned in this guide at all. From personal experience Road of Regrets is the fastest place to lvl at until you can 100% 1 hit Petris, the only downside is that you will rarely sell leech there. But at the same time you get a lot more base meso from the item drops and scrolls that drop there.

 

Where can i go lv 52-75, lmpq got nerfed and i cant 2shot at gs5

the exp is crazy after just killing 3-4, but i keep missing, is there a way to fix this?

 

Pretty much. This is where I've been living for about 40 levels now.

 

Hey guys.

Is poison breath training at Death Teddies worth it if I'm completely unfunded? (I'm playing an Ironman character, so it has to be self-sufficient and I can't fund it from another character).

Not sure if I should remain at GS5 instead.

 

I've personally never found poison breath to be a viable method of training, so I *personally* wouldn't. I'd be curious to hear how it goes if you do, though.

 

I guess I'll give it a whirl when I hit 55 in a few levels and let you know

Edit: @Shepherd it didn't end up being viable, I couldn't land a single hit. I can't imagine I'd be able to hit them with any consistency until 70+ since even if I landed a poison shot it only has a 60% chance to poison the DT.

 

From my experience it's great exp if you can't find a pq for 51-70, you will miss a lot but the high exp will compensate.

 

What about bossing with a f\p mage?

I've only done a select amount of bosses on my f/p mage, and my experience is that they simply aren't that amazing at any of them.
When you fight Krexel as any element based character, you will struggle as the 2nd eye is strong against all of them which makes F/P struggle a lot.
Fighting Horntail isn't too bad but not too great either, you get to enjoy that dark wyverns are weak to fire so you can easily 1 hit them but other than that I/L mages will likely outshine you for most of the body as they can hit multiple body parts at once. (Used to run a HT squad that had both a F/P and I/L mage in it)
