    Which is another reason why I'm not about giving health insurance to everyone and have others pay for it as I don't feel it's the solution. First of all, our whole health care system from pharmaceutical companies to insurance companies to even the hospitals themselves are messed up. Last year, for those who didn't know, I had knee surgery. The hospital charged $8,115 for "sterile supply" and $1,381 for a recovery room, for which I was literally in for 1 hour (from the time I came out of anesthesia, I was wheeled into the recovery room and was already being prepared for discharge. My total bill was $19,500 for an outpatient procedure. My insurance company only allowed the hospital to charge $3400 of that bill. (Note: Because of my plan, I only ended up paying about $400 out of pocket of that whole bill). But it is INSANE to think that 1. a hospital would charge that much for a procedure and that 2. an insurance company can just go "nope, we won't let you charge that much, here's how much you're going to be getting from this bill" and that's that.

    So I went on a bit of a tangent there with my anecdote but my point is, I think the focus is in the wrong place. Instead of providing health insurance to everyone because prices are ridiculously high otherwise, the candidates and the US government should be looking for ways to reduce what these companies are charging in the first place so that health care is affordable regardless of whether you have a great insurance plan or none at all.

    I got a very high %-match with Bernie Sanders in the quiz that someone linked a page or two back. Being from Scandinavia, I think what is considered "common sense" by all parties here is actually pretty leftist thinking in the US. I'm not even a left-wing voter in my country, and I reckon I'd still be a called a "damn socialist" by many americans.

    Not that this is any meaningful input on anything here :p

    Capitalism doesn't work alone, communism doesn't work alone. I'm pretty sure Donald will be the nominee as he is the big guy who takes a big dump on whoever says something against him, even though Kasich seems like the peaceful choice that people don't really have much negative to say about, or maybe it would come up IF he said stupid stuff if he was in the spotlight.

    On the other side, I'm not really sure if it will be Bernie or Hillary - anything can happen. Hillary might be up in a new scandal, Bernie might lose his following, anything can happen. I think, regardless, that this election will be one where someone who are not deemed as a traditional politician who follows the common views of their political side will be elected. The "dream" would be to see if Trump and Bernie would have a debate together, but I can't do anything about the election due to me living in Norway lolrip

    I don't see what the problem is c;;;;;

    I don't like Hillary, Trump or Cruz. Sanders is no doubt the best of the bunch in my mind.
