Based on all the precious points made by myself and other users, have the staff made any considerations regarding this issue ?

I don't believe it's their responsibility to "fix" this issue. It's not "fair" to you that you can't zak on your crapple. It's not "fair" to everyone else that the admins have to waste their time getting the game to work on a platform that was not meant for games, when there are much more important things they could be working on.

What OP is suggesting is impossible. What is stopping someone from lying and saying they play on a mac so they can bypass the need to zak for skills?

Suck it up and shell out $60 for a copy windows, or do the durty durty and torrent it. You can install a legitimate copy of windows and simply use it for 30 days without entering a key. You can also get a FREE 90 day trial of windows 7 enterprise by creating a microsoft account and applying. That's plenty of time to get your skill books.

Pretty much agree here with Ague. Changing the methods how skillbooks are collected is destroying the concept of v.62. And there are more important things which affects the entire playerbase.

I think if anything is going to be done about the issue, it would be a lot better to figure out a fix so that Mac users don't dc rather than doing anything with the skillbooks. Obviously, though, fixing the Mac issue would be tricky and time-consuming. If I remember correctly, we didn't always have this issue with Mac users and bosses.

For now, though, it makes sense to use Windows as a temporary workaround.
