I, Oguraan, am an orphan who lost my family in an accident at a young age.
To be honest, the shock blurred my memories of them.
As I got older, life felt more and more unbearable and I finally decided to leave it all behind.

Then, one day.. I began to see strange ghosts.

They wouldn't leave me alone, pestering me with their strange requests.
Fishing, home cooked meals, adventures.

I had no idea why they clung to me.
Yet, I found myself granting their wishes.
And then.. I felt it.
Something familiar.
Something warm.
Somehow they no longer felt like ghosts.

When it was time for them to leave,

Wordlessly, smiles lingering.

I whispered,
"Who.. were you?"

No answer.

I was still alone..
But somehow, I no longer felt lonely.

Although fictional, this narrative reflects a common reality. as we age, many of us grow apart from our families.
Most people think of a romantic partner when giving a Valentine’s gift or a message of love.
But before love ever found us, our parents and family embraced us with their love first, always there in times of need.
Even if we grow apart or lose them, they remain with us, forever in our hearts.
