What brought you guys to Maple Royals?

I was looking at a thread on Reddit talking about things that give you the most nostalgia. Someone posted old Maplestory and another user linked to Royals.

I've been here since.

 

I came here to relive the old days of Maple. And I only stayed because of the completeness of the server. I mean all of the Bosses, PQs, Quests,... it's all there and working. Thank you staff!

 

Pretty much same... I saved for so long on gms and never got one because I ended up getting hacked... I got it on here in the first month I joined and I have no idea where it went!!

 

Top private sever, this will be the last maplestory server i will be on

 

I used to play on a server called Leaftown before this. After a while the admins stopped giving a damn and the server slowly died and eventually shut down. I looked around and tried a few different servers before I ended up here. Even though this server appeared to lack some of the stuff I wanted from a private server it was still the overall best old school private server out there due to one important reason; community. While most other servers would struggle to keep player numbers up, Royals kept gaining more players. Afterall that's the most important part about maple. You can have all the cool features and stuff, but if you don't have any players it's not going to be a very good experience.

 

I originally joined a 1x server (which had 2x cards) - I forget the name, I don't think it's open anymore. After my first day of playing I went to bed, woke up and the server had rolled back so I lost my account completely

Went to the server underneath it on GTOP which was Royals!

 

looked for a server, that wasn't v16x and, the rates weren't too low and that ended up being mapleroyals so I joined~

 

One thing: Decent amount of players Online 500+

I don't know, I like socializing while on break from lvling.

 

I joined long time ago, I think it was GTOP. It wasn't this popular on GTOP back then but there were like 150 people on.

 

I first played about a year ago or so, but stopped playing fairly quickly because other games got in the way. I started playing again a few months ago after trying Reboot (which I hated), and I've been playing ever since!

 

Started listening to old MS BGMs on youtube one day. One thing led to another, and I stumbled upon Royals. I'm so glad I found it!

 

I saw my younger brother playing this game while I was studying for my class.
I kept looking back and forth at it so I just joined him.~

 

I always was interested in old maple and was tired of GMS stuff, so I joined royals

 

Both of my cousions and neighbor used to play this game, so everytime I'd go to their place I'd play it. One time it was for a whole summer because of the Lebanon war. I started to play MapleStory when I just was 8 and obviously I had like zero English skills so I was very clueless. The only job advancement I knew was the Warrior one. This is kind of a corrective experience for me. I'm still clueless AF but less than I once was.

Went on a nostalgia trip going through old MapleStory music with a friend. Decided I wanted to explore the ant tunnels just like the good old days so I installed GMS but I was disappointed when I found the whole area had been revamped. Looked up old school MapleStory private servers and this seemed to be the best choice. Didn't expect to stay long but here I am

 

wanted 2 c how old servers was n i had win8 that couldt run v83 so i found v62 n ye good times now i dont play for thats how i found royalz

 

Ive been a maple player since GMS launched. Though that game going to literal hell made me want to relive the maplestory I played as a kid. So after trying some other private servers and having some shut down, I came here. Absolutely love how the game is managed and how most of us are in our 20s.

 

Used to play on some higher rates pre-BB servers, but what brought me here was the lower rates and the community.
