Spend most of the times I'm not on royals either playing League Of Legends or speed running Super Mario 64 on console. Unfortunately they both require a %$%£ load of dedication to be good at. Around 500 hours of Super Mario 64 practise and still not good enough to get a decent time. Spoiler
Been trying to get into CS:GO ever since the beta, but it still never sticks to me. Eh, still trying though... so many people I know playin' it, ya know
Doesn't the analog stick get used really quick for resetting over and over? Having three controllers myself and two of them are brokenish and one is still functional but still kinda meh. None of them weren't used for such purposes. For autumn, the games I'm focusing are Path of Exile, Heroes of the Storm, Dirty Bomb and some indie games perhaps. Btw, you guys should check out Divinity: Orginal Sin if you haven't already. Only for those true turn-based rpg-lovers! (May as well check out the gameplay review of the second game at PAX this weekend!)
The sticks are pretty bad yes, I was lucky enough to grab a new un-used controller for around $25 which is super cheap. To be honest from regular usage the sticks should last a decent amount of time. The reason they break so easily for SM64 runners is that the bowser throws ( rotating the stick 360 degrees as hard as you can) breaks them very quickly. Because of this, most runners will use something called a Hori Minipad (more reliable and easier to spin quickly) and switch to it purely for the bowser throws and then go back to using the official one for the rest of the game. ( Some runners do however choose to use a Hori Minipad for everything, not just throws). The problem with Hori Minipads is that you'll be lucky to find a used one for <$100. For now I just hold back on the throws a bit so I don't break my stick as quickly. Infact, my stick still feels like it's new, however my 'R' button has started to stick already. >.>
I'm a bit addicted to Super Mario Maker at the moment. I've got one of those, they are so much more comfortable than an N64 controller, and I don't really like GC controllers, so it's a good in-between controller once you get used to its small size.
Just recently got DB Xenoverse for xbox one and it feels like the ps2 games. good investment and my social life is done for
Is there an english version for B&S yet? I tried it out a year ago, but I used some dodgy English Language patch over the Chinese version so it was a bit rough.
Nice - I'll wait for an official release, I'm in no rush to play as I've already given it a whirl before. I preferred Tera over B&S but I feel that my impression of B&S wasn't the best it could have been due to the crappy English patch haha.
Currently playing: DJMax Portable 3, SuperBeat Xonic, Vanilla WoW & Learning SotN Alucard Any% Speedrun I tried out Blade & Soul but wasn't feeling it very much.
Trying out blade and soul after i quit black ops 3 the game is fun but the queues for non-premium users are painful...
Playing MapleRoyals BloodBorne League of Legends Rogue Legacy I'll start playing Divinity Original Sin, seems to be cool. Waiting for FF XV, and for the remake of VII.
