What job does the most damage?

    DrKs do more lines, but heroes do more attacks per minute.

    So Going by sire's chart, a hero on SI does 94 attacks per minute * 2 lines per attack = 188 chances to proc SI
    Going by the same chart, a DrK on SI does 74 attacks per minute * 3 lines per attack = 222 chances to proc SI

    So a DrK gets about 1.18x the effect out of SE, but SE is only about a 1.07% dmg boost in the first place for classes without an innate crit. It might be enough to tie them when SI is in use (making up 4% total damage) but I doubt that, and when SI is not in use, they're only doing 1.1x the lines per minute so it's certainly not going to make up the 8% dmg there. I'll do the specific math on this when I get home. Of course this is all about as useful as 2 attack on your weapon/glove/shoe, so the point of "Hero = DrK to within 5%" is really the take home message.

    For some clarification in here, since I got tagged; 11k Range Stonetooth Hero w/o SI gets outdamaged by mid 6k range NL on SE consistently, which essentially means that any 7k+ range NL (and by extension, about high 6k Range Corsair to compensate for boat skill) wouldn't ever get outdamaged by any Hero on equal attack potions. Keep in mind that Heroes hit multiple targets, which balances the scales in a long term battle such as HT or Zak.

    The OP asked for "regular equips", so I think that they're more asking for the general picture rather than a pissing contest of who outdamaged who on that one HT run, and who narrowly beats out who by 0.3% DPS. On that note;

    Corsairs on Ship and Night Lords w/ SE >> Heroes, Dark Knights, Bowmasters, Night Lords solo >> Paladins, Buccaneers, Marksmen, Shadowers not bombing.

    Noting of course that Shadowers that bomb are wild cards; some are slow and some are fast, so the player him/herself determines where on the relative scale they belong. I don't include Corsair off ship on this scale because they never spend long periods of time off ship (the cooldown isn't significant compared to a boss run length without SE, for example) and most good Corsairs only lose their ship 1-3 times even on HT runs.
