What was the first job you picked when you first started playing maple story?

2007 or 2008, started a Warrior which I advanced into a Spearman. Didn't get over level 50 for a long time.

 

Got A Dragon Knight to 91, it had 135 dex.

 

Fire/Poison Mage here... I never got it past 11x, since I started leveling my NL and DrK later on.

 

I picked thief as my first job, but it was SO weak. Why? Because I put all my AP into INT be cause it made sense to me that thieves had to be smart...

 

My first character was a mage long ago in GMS. I made it a cleric, I didn't even know what a cleric could do but I had to pick one of the three. Never made it over lvl38 with it, I was super strong because I added STR as a beginner....... Later on I went to EMS where I started as a thief. I am still loving the assassin job. I learned about dexless and I was rolling the Brown Bamboo+Sauna Robe+Meba, you know what they all looked like ^^

 

I made a Bandit after I saw a video of Savaga Blow. I remember putting a large majority of my AP into HP…*facepalm*

 

Oh no you don't. KoC, Resistance and Legends etc doesn't start as a Beginner.

 

My first char was a magician... it was still in beta version
I reached lvl 25 at most, can not remember for sure.

I remember rather equip more LUK instead of INT because he thought it would increase my chances of dropping best equips!

Anyway, then I quit this char and made a warrior/archers others mages and many others,
but my favorite is definitely Shadower!

my 1st mage was 38lvl... didnt have magic guard from 1st job noticed it was mistake when i started doing LPQ ... coz why would mobs take my mana if potions are expensive and i need mana to cast skills

 

I started around v75, made a Blaze Wizard and got him to about 50, then quit in favor of a DEXless Sin after learning more about the game.

Idk if anybody remembers the MASSIVE rollback on DemethosGMS around Thanksgiving of 2009 or so, but there was a huge meso exploit that caused the server to rollback over a week (I had not been playing due to finals) and as compensation, Nexon gave everyone 5k Maple Points and something obscene like 12 hours of 2x for 3 or 4 days straight. This was also during the Golden Temple event, where you could buy the Red Envelopes and grind on the amazing exp Goblins. Suffice to say, I no-lifed and got from 4x to late 8x in those few days, quit for a while and came back to Big Bang...
