What was your first MapleStory private server you've played?

ChickenMS.. many many years ago, I remember struggling like all hell to download it.
Perma Buffs.
Unlimited FJ
NX slime mobs.
2B = 1 chicken.
Then using the chickens to buy MSI's.
Or just pay to win and donate for MSI in every slot.

.. God it was terrible, looking back on it now.

 

SnailMS! That was one of my favorites when I was a kid after GMS started to go downhill. It was pretty similar to royals from what I can remember about it; low rates, older version, small community, etc. Me and a bunch of my RL friends all played it at the same time for like a year during middle school, was so much fun.

 

Destiny. Then I played a couple of the ridiculous post-bb ones where you could reborn a zillion times and stand in the middle of a map spamming genesis -> meteor shower -> blizzard while also being a Dark Knight. I also played another nostalgic for a while, along with actual GMS in between all of these. And now I'm here!

 

I played on Extalia for a while, was a forum moderator for them for a while, left due to life events, came back to find it gone and stumbled on Royals and love it here.

KennyMS. Don't remember the version. Is was 62 or earlier. Was super small and didn't last long.

First I mained though was AxedMS v62.

Played Rydah for a little.

Was GM on a handful including Kenny, Axed (left when Jussi handed over to chaz or whatever his name was) and Legends.

 

Iceystory! It was a really high rate/unlimited NX ps so it was more to socialise and play around instead of serious mapling. I was caught on the tail-end though so it went down shortly after I joined If anyone else was on icey, lmk :*

 

I remember my first was a ps that my brother's friend made and it was called puppystory back in 2009. Tough the fact this ps never reached more than 10 people, the average who played this game evetually got shut down because of that so i joined Sexyms a non gms server that was fun for a while since you could've rebirth and had alot of other features that could've get you strong but about 1 time a week there would be always a DDOS attack which would cause the servers to rollback alot and you'd be unable to play for a good while until they fixed it, so i changed again to a few non gms private servers for a while until i just got sick of it. Eventually i joined extaliams a gms server with a 8x exp, 4x mesos and 2x drop rates. Played for about a month worth of progress and reached a level around 170 until again i got tired of it and decided to take a break from mapling. Later in 2016 that is when i once saw again mapleroyals in the gtop100 because i'm not gonna lie, when i first saw mapleroyals in 2013, i was excited to find it because my brother was looking for a old version of the maple game and so was i. So i downloaded it but everytime it after a few seconds it would detect it as a virus and in the end i just considered it as one until i realised when i looked back in 2016 that there were instructions on how to place it as an exception in order so you can play the game. And that is how i find myself today in this wonderful, still alive community.

 

I played SydneyMS briefly, for like a week. I would never play such a high rate server again, because it's discomfiting to be able to remember standing in ToT, spamming Genesis 30 while wearing a Blue Bazura...and absolutely nothing before that point.

 

OdinMS.

 

ArberMS around 2008. Google suggests it was around v75. I recall the 500x EXP rates or something crazy like that and getting bored after about 2 days.

Mapledestiny, they have bossPQ, kinda fun to play High rate , auto skill book and other similar stuff cause the server dead I think.

 

God damn...

It was called farmerstory. Basically it was pre BB with an endless rebirth system with rates that were beyond anything comparable. I think it was x5000 but could be wrong. Whenever you reached max meso it would turn back to 100k and you'd get a chicken which was worth that max. They spawned high end mobs everywhere in HHG and every FM room was a different boss. It was hilarious but eventually nexon shut them down.

 

Yooooo! I remember Final and Mateo, he use to steal all his coding and stuff for his server from Andy, the owner of his rival high rate server XplicitStory (was a GM on Xplicit prior to Mateo shutting it down and joining the Xplicit Team). My GM ign there was OverMind/GanjaMan, if you're familiar with it at all.
