"What you just said is one of the most insanely, idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point, in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that can be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it." –Movie 'Billy Madison' by Adam Sandler
"I'm not a racist, I hate everyone equally." "The solution often turns out more beautiful than the puzzle." "We live in a society exquisitely dependent on science and technology, in which hardly anyone knows anything about science and technology." "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence." I have two. 1. By William Shakespeare a fool thinks himself to be wise but a wise man knows himself to be a fool I have seen people saying ''I'm smarter than you are'' or ''my IQ is above XX, so don't even argue''. Without the knowledge of what wisdom actually is. And also forgetting someone with a lower IQ might be worse at e.g. mathematics but could socially be much stronger. 2. By Albert Einstein If you can't explain it simply you don't understand it well enough. The reason why I like this one is because it encourages me to learn certain things to the point where I am able to not only understand the case, but also to share it with those that don't. I wish teachers thought of it more.
"Voilà! In view, a humble vaudevillian veteran, cast vicariously as both victim and villain by the vicissitudes of Fate. This visage, no mere veneer of vanity, is a vestige of the vox populi, now vacant, vanished. However, this valorous visitation of a by-gone vexation, stands vivified and has vowed to vanquish these venal and virulent vermin vanguarding vice and vouchsafing the violently vicious and voracious violation of volition. The only verdict is vengeance; a vendetta, held as a votive, not in vain, for the value and veracity of such shall one day vindicate the vigilant and the virtuous. Verily, this vichyssoise of verbiage veers most verbose, so let me simply add that it's my very good honor to meet you and you may call me V."
