Hi! Im really enjoying the winter dash event, but sadly i have been having some issues with it. At the beginning of the event it worked quitte fine for me and i finished the JQ easily for a lot of times. But for the last two weeks i have been experiencing a bug on one of the last long drop ropes. My character just wont hold on to the rope and falls down. i cant reach the exit anymore because of it. i have been trying different techniques with my upper arrow timing but my character just wont hold on to it. it has been like 10 dashes which i couldnt reach the end because of it Anyone experiencing the same? or have some ideas to resolve it? Greetz!
Not a jqer expert but try holding your arrow key up all the time while on rope and jumping ! You dont have to time it, it will grab the next rope automatically when you jumped to the next one
Im holding up all the time sadly i tried all the techniques. it works on the other ropes.. but at that one last long jump it wont hold.
Try hold both left+up before jumping from the very top. I had issue with that one (assuming you're referring to the one I'm thinking of) as well in the first week of the event, then I realized, due to me mapping the arrow buttons to my left stick, I either wasn't jumping far enough or missed the up arrow, as the left stick must be in the zone to register both left & up arrows. After realizing that, it has been success up until now.
