Zancks’ 4th Job Skill/Mastery Book Guide

I'll go ahead and help you with the changes I know need to be made (Mostly regarding things that also drop from Krexel, as well as books that I know drop elsewhere. Mostly pirate and thief section)
Will get to that tomorrow.

 

I said valuing skill books were a good thing, and I said adding your personal opinion on the value of the skills themselves was not welcome.

And to get back to the errors in the thief section. Venom30 is Zakum only, and Assassinate20 does not drop from Cornians nor Papulatus, but Jr Newties and Griffey instead, and Assassinate30 is GPQ only, not Zakum. Supposedly it should drop from Cheif Oblivion Guardians in RtO5, but a source said they removed it. It's also debated what the cost of this book is, but with the ordinariness of GPQ now, it's has probably dropped. Lastly, there is a name error in the spoiler for Ninja Storm, calling it Ninja Ambush, but it's trivial. And I just remembered, Ninja Ambush drops from Pianus (20/30) and now Krexel (3o) too.

On a side note, it might be useful to add which Pianus drops what book, in case people don't know. Left = 20 books, right = 30 books.

 

Changes were made. In regards to the Ninja Storm/Ambush, I actually had the prequests mixed up so I forgot to change the name once corrected.

I believe krexel also drops monster magnet 30, thought i'd point it out.

Have you had someone proof-read this? I found loads of grammatical errors just by skimming through the guide.

Nonetheless, good guide! With the adjustments suggested in the above posts, it's pretty accurate now by the looks of it.

I noticed 2 drop locations for thief mastery books that weren't listed so I'll put 'em down to make your guide more complete: Venom 30 from Qualm Monks and Shadow Claw 20 from Brexton.

EDIT: I believe Krexel also drops Brandish 30.

Nice guide, but the HT drops look overpriced, nobody for example will pay 2B for Blizz 30 when they can just go on a run and get it for free. 1B maybe. Also mana Reflection 20 os worthless not 1~5m. I sometimes have 20~20 of those in my inventory after hunting Soiled Rags, they're as common as Skele book drops. Also Rush 30 is probably more than 25m, I've never seen it in fm since starting on this server.

 

I sold a Rush30 for 100mil to Nick (Himeragi) because there's so few.

The time limit of 1 hour on pink bean isn't pre-BB. I don't recall the actual time like pre-BB when he came out, but it was more than an hour. Just a small detail. PB is disabled here anyway.. right?

 

I remember hearing it from someone, but either way, Pink Bean isn't available in this server.

 

Seems like it was 1 hour, but they had potential equips....

Not yet... Matt said Pink Bean would come.
