Please open up the ghost chimney during the duration of the Halloween event and *possibly* have the mobs drop something related to the quests/event. Sure, it's "OP for low levels" but it'll be short term and something different for once, plus...how often are low leveled players specifically catered to with events? It was a part of the game in the version(s) our server is derived from, so it's got the nostalgic base covered. edit: also, please buff HH spawn rates for the duration of the event (halloween themed boss - still remember the day it was released on gMS like it was yesterday) edit 2: I mean the training maps!!!! My apologies for not clarifying, totally forgot about the JQ. Mobs like these:
I had to look it up I really like our current Halloween jump quest, it's one of my favorite jump quests in the whole game. Ghost Chimney looks quite challenging but also... Somewhat dull? Edit: Sneaky OP! it's part of the haunted house area, right? Would be nice to see them expand this region. Not before they release Ellin Forest ofc, It's my personal soft spot.
okay, my opinion as someone who HATE jump quests: its a simple one. No big challenge, just a -> jump <-, which make it boring. What I would say to a GM: at least make something to make me angrier with JQs, not one I can just ''meh, another one''.
Oh whoops, I didn't mean the JQ - I meant the training maps! They have some of the best low leveled mobs to train on and they're all spooky themed. However, I'm definitely not opposed to adding in the JQ too...it fits the theme, was a part of pre-BB gMS, and certainly can't hurt to have another appropriately themed addition to the Halloween event (coming from somebody who hates JQs and doesn't even attempt them).
They'll have to make sure that map is not warpable via TP rocks, and that in the end of the event people will be warped out of there so that area won't be abused after the event is over. As long as its a temporary map for halloween i'm all for it
We have this as a GM event map though. I'm sure you'd love having 300 people in that tiny map. On a serious note, not sure if this is something we'll be adding for Halloween event. We'll see in due time.
