An historic moment I've been preping up for for years And it was all done in 1 hour and 10 minutes We might have overprepared Results: @Inusama has passed the Gen 30 first try!!! And we got Enrage 30 for safekeeping until someone will show interest Thank you to all the Ironmen that managed to show up for this moment to achieve the ironman dream, may this not be our last Now... who's gonna be the first to solo HT?
We did it!! Thank you to the GM's, Interns, and other contributors for all that they do in maintaining this server where the game still feels great and fun to play. Thanks to the Ironman Guild for allowing me to participate in this run and for putting up with my stupidity. It was an honor! Congrats to Nicko on 200. And finally, To The Crew That Have Finally Conquered Horned Tail After Numerous (2 1/2) Attempts. I Salute Thee! You Are The True Heroes Of Leafre!! "So yeah, when we first enter the map just make sure you don't move. We don't wanna make sure-we wanna make sure the head doesn't come out before everyone comes in." "OH F****!"
A little bird told me about the HT run. You guys are awesome! Both the dedication of some Ironmen over the years, and the fact that the challenge kept a small but constant flow of dedicated players, are simply amazing. The challenge will have its 10 years anniversary this year. That's incredible.
I have been playing for a while now but would like to join this guild with my new warrior character. I am currently level 36, IGN: SpartanGhost.
Hello Everybody, I hope you are all doing well! I will be providing an update on my characters as I have not given an update in a while. For my MM: During these past few months, I have not really logged onto my MM other than completing the Valentines Event for the ring. This ring is one of the best in slot rings available so it was a nice pickup for the future. For my Hero: Business as usual. Log on to do dailies and log off. Added the Reuel's Search for the Elixir of Life daily HP quest to the list. Although I do have enough HP to tackle most content available for ironman, it is nice to break the monotony of dailies by exploring the maple world through these randomized quests. This is also a good way to passively hunt for monster cards required for the legendary collector medal, a medal that should be best in slot once I get enough dex from equips to not rely on the quest virtuoso medal. On 12/24/2024, I reached level 193. On 12/28/2024, the Ironman guild attempted its first Horntail run! This run was being organized by me and it took a few months to get enough people available at the same time due to many different timezones and commitments. For heroes, there are not too many useful things that Horntail drops besides Enrage 30 and Maple Warrior 20. Enrage is a nice attack buff but I already have plenty of energizers to use and Maple Warrior 20 I would probably give to somebody else who is more active than me. Unfortunately, we were not able to clear it as there were a series of errors and disconnects that happened. We scheduled the next Horntail attempt to be 1/4/2025. On 1/1/2025, I reached level 194. On 1/4/2025, the Ironman guild finally killed Horntail for the first time! This was one of the things that many veterans of the Ironman challenge wanted to clear and we were quite overgeared. A one hour ten minutes clear time is not too bad. Unfortunately I will probably not be attending future Horntail runs due to the optimal times being very early in the morning for me. On 1/12/2025, I reached level 195. On 1/29/2025, I reached level 196. On 2/16/2025, I reached level 197. On 3/7/2025, I reached level 198. On 3/26/2025, I reached level 199! This was the milestone that I set for the next Gachapon run. With two slots left to complete on the Stonetooth Sword, I am prioritizing getting more white scrolls at New Leaf City Gachapon before going to other areas such as Showa Town for the Stone Tiger Head needed for Facestompers and Perion which contains two attack capes: Pink Adventurer Cape and Taru Spirit Cape. I had around 2.1m nx saved which equated to 2280 Gachapon tickets and also had 2646 purification totems which equals 105 Gachapon tickets at Lionheart Castle Gachapon. The result of the Lionheart Castle Gachapon was 1 brown work glove, 2 chaos scrolls, and 2 taru totems! Pretty good result all things considered but unfortunately the glove for attack 30% scroll did not work on the brown work gloves. Now for the other Gachapons: For New Leaf City Gachapon, I decided to gach until I hit 10 white scrolls and pause to scroll my Stonetooth Sword. Prior to this I was 5/44. On the 51st attempt, I was able to pass the sixth slot. With three white scrolls left, I actually passed the final slot on the 53rd try! This marks to be the first perfect Stonetooth Sword of maximum attack in the Ironman challenge. I also dropped 7 30% topwear str scrolls on a top I was saving and 4/7 landed! I was very happy and fortunate to have over a thousand gachapon tickets remaining. For Showa Town, my main focus was obtaining a stone tiger head to craft facestompers. Facestompers are the only attack shoe that is obtainable for ironman besides the red christmas sock which is seasonal and very rare. Besdies the stone tiger head, other hits include face accessory for dex 60% and maple leafs. After a few hundred tickets, I was able to obtain the stone tiger head but did not get any face accessory for dex 60% along the way. For Perion, my focus was obtaining a good Pink Adventurer Cape or Taru Spirit Cape in order to use the chaos scrolls on them. My ideal scenario would be to have two good attack capes: one that I can use chaos scrolls on and one that I can keep in case the results of the chaos scroll go bad. The result of using the remaining Gachapon tickets was a 3 attack Pink Adventurer Cape and a 2 attack Taru Spirit Cape. With everything ready, I was able to craft my first ever Facestompers. These will be saved as I want to obtain a good enough attack cape first. The next milestone will be level 200, so stay tuned for another update in the future! Happy Mapling everybody!
Hey guys!! Bit tired of bossing/dailies so I started an ironman!! Is the guild still active? Would love to join IGN : Selfmadee
I was considering it. In fact I was developing my own personal idea of a version of the Ironman challenge, but I'm not sure its doable enough without a bit of "non challenge" leveling before starting it properly. My take on the challenge would be the Odysseus twist, where you're stranded on Florina Beach (like the greek hero) and only on those few maps. Problem is you'd have to first get the job of a warrior, since the canon would be that you're a greek soldier and after Troy you survive a storm but your ship i wrecked and your crewmembers are dead. So in this LARP version, I'd have to get to Florina at lvl 10 -- problem is the lowest mob is the Lupins. My problem is I'd have to level enough so even hitting them is possible before "stranding myself". I'd also not do any quests before Florina (except maple island) and i'd dump all my inventory except the starting warrior lvl 10 items only. I thought I could write it up and open up a new thread and get it going myself without caring if it makes sense, but the "level before being stranded" part bugs me and I can't think of an elegant solution. A rough draft of the idea I typed out. Would like anyone's opinion on this, especially if PaddysPub sees this. I would probably do it, as I'd love the grind of it. It's basically Islander gameplay of sorts but a different set of bottleneck elements.
I think it’s a fun idea! Maybe just start at lvl 25/30? Like the legoman challenge. Personally I stumbled on the caveman challenge and it sounded really cool but it’s just dead, and sleepy is top tier nostalgia. Legoman imo you can progress much further but I don’t really like the ludi aesthetic (hot take???)
Hello Everybody, I hope you are all doing well! I am providing an update on my character: On 4/16/2025, I hit Level 200! This marks the third ironman ever to reach level 200 and the first of the hero class. Upon reaching level 200, I went ahead and completed some quests to get echo of the hero which is a percentage attack buff that works for everybody in the current map you're in, the dragon mount which is a faster silver mane, and finally the gallant warrior medal obtained only after you reach level 200 on a warrior. This medal could potentially be an upgrade if I didn't need the dex on the quest virtuoso medal. The total time it took was around 16 months and I would like to thank everybody who helped me during my journey to 200 and also those who follow these updates. Whats next for this account? When I created this account, I wanted to keep my dex at 4 to see if I could equip the stonetooth sword that requires 120 dex. I have 19 skill points free and may just break this rule by applying all 19 points into dex. Doing so would free up equipment slots, mainly the shoes in preparation for a good attack facestompers and also being able to equip the gallant warrior medal instead of the quest virtuoso medal . I also plan to still do dailies and slowly scroll weapon attack capes / shoes while also completing the daily hp quest to reach 30000 hp as a goal. Voting for nx may also now be on my marksman as a motivator to play her again if I ever do decide to. That's all for now, happy mapling everybody!
HI there, Started ironman my IGN is: Ironlord Hoping to join an ironman based guild or to have grow my buddy list, Thanks
It's been a long Time since my last Post but now i'm back! I reached lvl 142 some days ago and since then i was doing my last Quests for the medal... Yesterday i got my 800 Quests done and got my Quest Specialist Medal, i'm so happy to finally have achieved this! <3 Now i'll do some more Training until i will try my krex solo in about 4 weeks
Lemmi join in to the specialist party WOOP WOOP lvl 100 Perma beginner + quest specialist! This quest specialist was definitely my favorite, going through the quests as a beginner made some very trivial quests feel like true challenges, and area bosses felt like actual boss fights. Quest specialist was the challenge I set myself when I first made this character, so right now the only two challenges I have left are beating capt latanica and crimson balrogs as my final stretch goal for this challenge run. Who knows, maybe I'll think of another goal to extend this character's playthrough, but I am getting pretty near to the end of what I wanted to experience with him
After a very, VERY long time since I've set to clear quest virtuoso on my shadower, I have finally completed it! The last stretch of quests was quite insane, I was really scraping the bottom of the barrel to finish this one My final quest was the final tower of LHC, I made the life of future me easier and got the ball rolling on the rose garden quest
