Another one is Telecasting. I don’t remember it working in GMS and I know in other servers I’ve played it doesn’t work. While it adds a little skill, it gives an advantage to players using hardware that’s more conducive to fast key inputs. At this point it seems to be accepted as a feature rather than a bug, much like Marksman’s Snipe working during cancels so I don’t see it being changed.
they previously tried to fix it, but it messed up looting function, and was left alone since (at least that’s what someone told me)
I remember telecasting working in all official Maplestory servers? I love telecasting with a fire / poison. Gets a bit of getting use to, but its pretty easy to get it down. I like the server and have few complaints because I'm a solo but unfortunately I think botters have to be the main issue, these guys are really ruining the encomy in some areas.
I’ve never looked at it from that way, but I gotta admit you do have a point! - I love a lot of things here. This server means a lot to me. But there are somethings that I dislike and it’s nothing personal. I don’t like of how hardcore some of the rules are, and how they perma ban some persons. I feel bad reading some ban appeals, because as a community, I think we should look forward to grow with quality. And perma banning persons It’s the opposite of that. I’ll not get into the merit of what are those rules I’m talking about but I’m pretty sure if you look what I’m trying to say here from a positive perspective You’ll understand where I want to reach. Maybe a solution would be a good talk, be more flexible. (Rwt and hacking should be perma ban ofc) I dislike the lack of benefits for new players. Somehow I feel that it’s more difficult to make progress nowadays than it was when I joined, for example. I don’t like the removal of fm button! It was so good, from the social aspect and it increased so much the gameplay as well, it was amazing quality of life. They removed it saying that it would ruin the nostalgia of being like old gms but paradoxically we have some features that are not like old gms at all. I don’t like how some players are toxic, back then it was like a small village full of friends where everybody would try to help each other. No inner circles like today. I dislike telecast. I liked more when people used to grind in this server, somehow I don’t see a lot of players grinding, all I see is bossing. I don’t like simps! Also dislike some guilds rivalry’s. Deep inside they’re only wannabes. There are more things, but I think I’ve said a lot. Lmao
i dislike hp washing, some players who arent funded cant play some classes efficiently . hard to fund your acc until late game. and if ya want more people grinding maps for xp rather than bossing, if possible make mobs higher xp and bossing slightly lower so its a fair option to do both.
It's interesting you say this because even pre-bb I remember people always trying to find ways to multi client using third party software and Nexon patching it; this tug of war went on for a hot while. Even to the point where current GMS memes itself by calling it the "two/three-PC Meta" Obviously, it's not how the game should be played but it was/is part of the game and very much revolved around it, lol.
This minus the patching of the most common methods (which didn’t require tpp and were used by the ‘legit’ crowd who didn’t want to delve into tpp). Multi-clienting is nostalgic, just not for the low leveled/casual crowd. We used to use a few methods to multi-client back in the day. Typically just SE, HS, PG (power guard) and a leeching character. 1. VMWare 2. Multiple windows log-ins/user accounts 3. Multiple desktop computers/laptops
Voting bug. Can't vote even after 24 hours. There should be a countdown of sort to clearly tell us when it's time to vote again. NLstory, BSstory and Mulestory HP washing - yea it's always optional I get it, but you have a harder time enjoying end game content. The rampant hackers in ludi clock tower The 4 digit PIN and the 6 digit PIN each time you need to login, I get it, it's for better security, but is quite annoying.
Au contraire, my guild used to have a HS mule we all shared back on GMS called AuraVestige. We got that bad boy to 170+ from it sitting there leeching EXP from grinding. We had a rule you had to be a higher level than the HS mule to be in the guild. I remember everyone scrambling to the safe spot in the newts map for the HS buff every couple minutes. Nostalgia is subjective, it's okay not everyone feels the same about everything. I miss spending late nights on skype getting 1-2% an hour with a 2x card- chatting with friends and taking breaks to play combat arms. It's all very fond memories- even if most of that sounds horrendous to most players. lol However, I will agree people take muling here... a bit far.
Need to enter 4 digit pin for all my accounts every time my router restarts (be it power outage or manually restarted)
Don't like toxic ppl playing this game. Also, hp washing destroy the original experience of the character and is too expensive to be worth it at the end. I do favor multiclient since it's not always you'll get someone with that skill to help, and it's a pain to get even more dependable of people, especially toxic ones! It's not about nostalgia, but being practical.
