Event Design a Chair 2020 Winners!

Maybe I will do a placeholder next year so that my chair gets more visibility.

 

Sure if you want visibility to normal players, but we don't vote from the thread where people submit the chairs- so it wouldn't change the outcome if you have a placeholder or not.

I have a question about the voting process.

This is probably just an edge case, but how would the runner ups be determined if (for some odd reason) less than 10 people get all the votes?
For example, imagine that somehow there are only 5 chairs that actually receive votes(everyone's top 3 includes some arrangement of these 5 chairs).
Would there just be less winners?

Again, I admit that this is not likely to occur(especially since there were like 40+ different chairs to vote for this time), I'm just curious and thought I'd ask to see what you guys thought

 

In a situation like that, i'd suggest them to add a 4th place to their selection (worth only 1 point). that would massively decrease the odds of only 9 or less chairs getting picked. (it wont guarantee it tho, theoretically they can go up to chair number 10 and still agree with each other)

@Evan how many judges we had this year in total?

 

If we got less than 10 we would do another round of votes, however we have never had that happen. Even when there were considerably less staff (this was a pretty big wave of votes, I even got Chok to vote this year). I think it speaks to the amount of good chairs that there's a good spread.

May I know when will the chair is ready to claim ?

 

They will write in the announcement update post if the new chairs were added to the server. I'd guess next update we get the chairs but who knows
