Hey guys, I was wondering whether to Chaos my brand new Rudolph's Shiny Nose or to scroll it with Face Accessory for Avoid, soo I thought it would've been a good thread also for you to show us yours, maybe after 3 Chaos your nose now is stronger than a Zhelm What you think? Tbh there are far better items to throw cs on, so unless you are a shad, or a very late endgame player, i don't see this as a high priority for you. Still, u do u
Like which items? I thought that the Shiny Nose was the best face accessory item in game atm. Is there something stronger?
Not face accessory, but in general, you get more value from CSing something that contains attack. And unless you plan to buy all of the gear that has attack on them, which then i would say "so don't waste the cs on the shiny nose and save up for your attack gear", then I don't see the reason to cs it. And don't forget that you can also ruin your shiny nose with the CS. A clean/scrolled with avoid shiny nose will get you far in this game, without the risk of destroying it and needing to use the alternative, weaker face accessories.
It depends how advanced you are and what class you are playing. If dex is your main stat and you are in the first stages of playing, 60% is not a bad idea, it's safe, can improve the nose by a little bit (the scroll gives only +1 though), and cheap compared to spending lots of mesos on chaos scrolls when you can have better cost efficient upgrades. Otherwise, if your main stat is LUK/STR and dex is the secondary, i would suggest to keep it as it is so u can chaos it in the future when you become more advanced . Nose is once a year and a 5/5 face for the first stages of playing seems decent. I don't think it's worth it to sacrifice the potential of the nose for +3 dex when it's a secondary stat (that means even if all of the 60%s pass).
Definitely chaos, no argument to be had. That said, whether or not you chaos now or later should be dependent on what stage you’re at gear wise. Obviously if you’re new the investment wouldn’t be worth it at the time, but a well equipped player with funds would be able to justify the risk and investment (also more likely to have more than one face acc., giving insurance room should the one(s) you scroll fail). 60% is only if you’re like a perma casual or have already landed chaos that went extremely favorable (you’d ws in this case).
This is what I recommend. Keep it clean for a long time. It's not worth the risk if you don't have a good backup. It's also not very worth the cost if you have a lot of other gear to upgrade. When you eventually are pro enough, then you can then decide for yourself if you'd rather spend (potentially) up to a few bil CSing noses or just upgrading attack gear.
