Please make a taxi or teleport npc in Ellin Forest

I really love the new maps and quests, but the maps in Ellin Forest are too large and difficult to navigate around, making it a hassle to do quests or daily bosses. Moving back and forth from town to other parts of the forest is especially tiresome if there is no bishop available in the party for door.

I think adding a taxi cab or a teleport npc that drops you off at Mossy Tree Forest Trail (where the map diverges) would be a nice QOL patch.

While I also find the lack of FM annoying, thematically it doesn't make sense. Getting to Ludi FM is easy enough from Ellin.

The new bosses provide a daily 4 chances at 5k cards. I think walking is a small price to pay (or rocks).

 

I too, would like to visit FM from the past for when people don't know prices and stuff are cheap.

 

It would make 0 sense, lore wise, to have a taxi in an uncharted forest.. And lol traveling from the past to the preset FM would not make sense either. It might be convinient but its also gonna ruin immersion

 

Thats why I mentioned teleport NPC. Having a NPC who can magically transport user into enchanted forest makes perfect sense.

For everyone saying that a teleport rock should be used, I think you guys should also support disabling Mystic Door everywhere and knocking out hidden teleports/taxi npcs so we can encourage more people using TP rocks.

Maybe instead of a warp npc, something similar to the hidden warps in shaolin that shorten the walk by allowing you to skip maps forward in the path. Which is like a shortcut in a forest :3

 

Hi, we have discussed, and we will not be adding a teleport NPC or Taxi in Ellin Forest for now. The area is not much different than Ulu City, Dragon Canyon (Skelegons) and Temple of Time in terms of mandatory travel distances. Besides, there are teleports in the maps which will decrease your travel time if you know about them.

 

@Joong Thank you for the response. Can you at least take care of some rope glitches in the Ellin Forest? It would be less annoying to walk around the forest without these rope glitches. I have these glitches around the map, especially in Mossy Tree Forest Trail.
