As you all may know, the skill Legendary Spirit allows you to scroll items that cannot be normally equipped by your character such as Gender/ Class specific items. I was scrolling such an item today after getting a White Scroll in Gachapon and did not un-tick the "Use White Scroll" box and had lost a White Scroll in the process... My suggestion is to either Automatically untick said box or add a prompt that whenever you're scrolling an item using Legendary Spirit (just like normal scrolling) will ask you if you're sure you're willing to use a White Scroll in the process. If that feature would be available, I wouldn't have lost a White Scroll today, being unaware of this checkbox. Thanks in advance~
making the skill pop a window out reassuring your decision after pressing "ok" SHOULD be ideal tbh. +1
afaik, this has been suggested many times, and every time it was shut down due to client limitations. stuff like adding new prompts, or modifying the scrolling skill, proved to be impossible. Been a long time since someone asked tho, so i hope something changed since then
A GM could have just reverted back the WS used and delete the item/refund back the original item stat to solve this problem. Sadly, this may lead to exploitation or it can be further discussed on a 1 to 1 case basis?
White scroll it's not a usable item(like a potion you can just click or a normal scroll you can consume it on a gear instantly) but lies in use tab, it trigger an additional window when you use another scroll and you have only one chance to click OK or CANCEL. I'm saying if I could I will definitely fire the designer of white scroll's UI An ideal UI IMO doesn't break the consistency game is, to make white scroll really an usable item, may use it on a gear like other scroll then it creates a one-time shield, showing an animation which could probably like a normal scroll pass, and the shield will be visible(like blue/purple gear tag or something). if you try to use another white on a protected gear again it be like using a normal scroll on a 0 slot item which does nothing. There seems to be some newer cash items work like this in non-v83 MS but could this be implemented on Royals client is another story.
I think the easier solution is like OP said, to keep the box unchecked. People that will be using white scroll should already be checking if the box is ticked or not, but people NOT using white scroll may or may not check it.
The only solution we have is remove the functionality of the tick permanently, aka player cannot use ws via legendary spirit in the absence or presence of ws
