My god, I never thought I'd see the day where this quest becomes truely viable. HP washing optional is actually a true statement about royals now, for real. Just from doing an HP quest right after the update, I can already see what a big difference this makes: Spoiler: holy moly This could actually bring people to their HP goals in a comfortable amount of time. And with the addition of the low hp system that lets you repeat it when you are lower than the HP threshold, there's nothing stopping players from grinding out their HP goals instead of sitting on a chair for hours to get leeched with stupid amounts of base int. As an Ironman, I got to experience the life of washing via grinding with base int, which I can say for certain is not the most enjoyable experience of the early game, nor is it an intuitive way to play. If this system was in place before I made all my Ironmen, you bet I would've skipped the base int on all of them, and just waited for the end game hp quests. So while it did come too late for me, I'm genuenly happy for everyone else who'll get to enjoy a washless experience of maplestory, on virtually any character they want.
had an uncompleted HP questline from a week ago, completed 2 questlines one off, got 90 HP one shot "Years" of debate paid off On the flipside, now I wonder what is the best way to passively earn mesos, used to just afk vote and come back selling APR. Doubt this trick works anymore. APR is next to worthless now I dont trust the rng stuff, gacha is always a scam
If APR become worthless, HP quest gets nerfed, likely. Mannn that means I hit the bad luck jackpot of 1 chaos elixir for both HP quests D:
New HP quest changes feel really good, especially for high level unwashed players. I know there are a lot of players who found out about washing late and have to make a decision about remaking their character if they want to experience all content Royals has to offer. It might be worth mentioning the changes as well as the upcoming seasonal events/bosses in a mass reminder email Actually true now
i agree with you Thank you Royals Staff for doing great things in last update really like all from the last update revert meso guard and this hp quest witch is more then great So i am saying it again thank you royals staff <3
I was suggesting since the question was asked. Its something that many use regularly so there will definitely be a market for it. Safety charms maybe but less used. Also there are packages like buy 10 free one, so u will be able to sell around 1 to 3 which is like apr.
I mean yeah I use owl and smega regularly. However I have the understanding that those in cash shop is not worth it, buying it from NPC with mesos is way worth, is it not? I just got this rubbish too today. Did the rash/hobi/turtle questline which took quite awhile, and got this rubbish lmao
it depends on how you value nx, some people feel that 1 to 3 is good or 1 to 2.5 is justifiable. Some feel that it should be 1 to 4. In any case, i think that would be the next stable thing for nx. The one from cash shop is 1k, 3m in fm, so 1 to 3. You can calc for the packages, and decide whats best for you!
I agree, this is a great change! I washed my BM from 12k base to 13.2k based on the old HP quest (10/20 hp per day, 70-120 hp per week) - it was painful... This is wonderful. I think with some persistence (not my kind of OCD), people can gain 1-2k hp easily while card hunting the assigned quest monsters.
Wait what? I didn't see anything about this, I only read that it was being worked on. Wow, they listened to us. I'm crying right now. f4f4f4f4f4f4
I think this is a great change. Looking back at the thread from last year regarding this quest, I think this is what many of us wanted :3 And regarding APR's, I mean, they probably won't be useless now. Remember, you can only do this quest once a day when you get up to a certain threshold. What this means is, you can get up to that threshold in a much quicker fashion now, but getting to 30k is still going to take time. Time which APR's can help alleviate Like, unless you heavily invest in washing, getting NL's and bowmen up to a high HP is a royal pain in the ass. Or, well, it used to be. Now it's okay for my marksman to be only mildly/moderately washed
