Alright, just cause you asked nicely Spoiler: Lvl 194-196 through the help of halloween and christmas, I managed to amass quite a bit of gelts, enough to push me through to lvl 196 lately! the gelt savings are running short tho, so my shaolin spree is about to end very soon, but lvl 200 is starting to look more realistic lately
Thanks to a weekend FULL of BF hunting [hunted almost 40, jesus], I managed to hit my lvl 197 goal much earlier than I anticipated! 3 more slowass levels to go, but this time, no gelts to back me up This recent BF hunt did fill me up with some optimism tho, as long as I'll find some entertaining shows to watch as I casually kill BFs in the background, it should be fine, should be
I'd like to join on my sin. IGN: Humbles Self imposed rule: only stays in victoria and doesn't gach, so no 3rd job either.
This took a while, so I thought I'll post this here to bump the thread and also to post some progress. Currently 557/800 completed quests for the medal.
It's been fun so far, finishing all quests and doing some medals here and there. I also have 50 base int so there's some room to wash when I want to, so I can progress a little further than base hp would allow me to. I am definitely feeling the steepness of monster scaling at this point, so I don't know what goals I want to set myself atm. 800 quest medal I think is pretty easy, but when it comes to quests like Ellin Forest Preq I definitely can't do those I think. The bosses have so much hp that it's basically impossible. I know there's an islander almost lv 100, so I think outleveling him is something I "must" do on this character so I can call myself the best ironman beginner there is, as Islanders play pretty much solo anyways.
And another one Today had an insane BF hunt run, back to back bosses that kept me busy for hours, helped me push in a single day more than 25%, the rest of the exp was mostly from oblivion 4 grinding. lvl 200 is getting more and more real by the day
This challenge reminds me of the classic old days when there was only 2nd Job Advancement. Many people had their dex over 80 to reach the equipment stats requirement or to have enough accuracy. As a worriorholic who never bought any leech and never joined any pqs during lv30~lv125, I think this mode may be 10 times even more painful and tough. I just deleted one of my character and remade it in a new, clean client. Hope to join the challenge! IGN: YuriTR
Passed a scroll for gloves for accuracy 10% yesterday The slow pace reminds me of the simple good old days in my childhood
@mayugod @Francesconi I've been trying to catch you two online for a few days already but I keep missing you guys online, sending you buddy request from Ironshichika, ping me if you see me online!
Finally reach lv30 and complete 2nd Job Adv I choose to be a fighter because they're the most common (typical) warrior imo, and I really like that. Cap: shop Viking helm Top and Bottom: sky shark, sky shark skirt (Both of them give me +12 speed help my training pace) Weapon: clean gladius (maybe I'll scroll them 7 100% att.) Gloves: +5accuracy +3dex Juno (no gloves attack ) Shoes: shop Mithril War boots Earrings:Amethyst Earrings (no stats) The Attack range is pretty nostalgic (low) @w@ I choose to specialize in swords because they're more stable, faster and reliable. In fact I used to be an axe crusader (Lv11X) in the past, so I know how painful and slow it was...... I suffered a lot from using the axes (no mastery buff, no weapon attack buff), so sorry that I ignore them. If someone chose to use axes, it would be one of the most toughest Ironman Challenge (Appreciate and Respect those who picked up axes in the old MS, you were true fighters!)
