when i get to step 9 i can't get myself to the top of that rope without getting hit by the falling rock. every time i do it i still get hit and sent back to the rope i was on. how do people get to the top of that rope and not get hit by the rock?!
Watch youtube videos on it and analyze it carefully. That's how I came about being able to clear the JQ in 1 try, almost 90% of the time.
@Linda Bao Try these two videos for part 1 and 2 of zjq It helped me a lot and it's step-by-step. JQ - Part 1 JQ - Part 2 I hope they help you! Also, counting when they fall helps. It's like a 1, 2 pattern or something like that. c:
Just finished both stages in one try for the first time, thanks to this guide! The last I've played and attempted this JQ was 8 years ago in GMS; I remember being so frustrated for hours and tilting into the shadow realms. Thanks so much!
The jump quest is just too heart breaking, I can clear the first part after an hour or two of trying, but.. I can't really take a 'break'. The game will either DC or I have to log out for work or sleep. The second half of the second stage screws me over, I've spent days trying to clear it, to no avail. I'm at the point I'm thinking screw Zakum. I wish there was like.. a checkpoint; You beat the first stage.. then you can re-try stage 2 whenever you want. I've watched videos, guides, memorized patterns.. but ultimately it means nothing when you just purely suck at jump quests.
This jq is before bigbang and exactly the same as MapleRoyals jq I never do zakum jq after bigbang so i dont know if they changed the jq.
Thats not the same as the original / MapleRoyals jump quest, the timing of dropping rock and others have been adjusted with longer interval which make the entire JQ way easier. Glad that MapleRoyals maintained the original JQ
♥ LOL no. I wish I was that pro to be able to post a video about it. I just found the videos, and thought they were helpful, so I shared them.
In stage 2 step 2, I found a way that always works: Wait for both fireballs to shoot simultaneously. Wait for their next shot. This will result in the top fireball shooting a bit before the bottom one, giving you enough time to jump to the top platform, and then to the bottom after the bottom fireball was shot.
It takes me about 5-6 hours to do this JQ. I'm really bad at it... Meanwhile I've seen my wife go through the first map on one try. And the second one in 2-3 tries. Takes her about 15-20 mins to clear the entire thing. Insane...
You gotta jump before the rock even shows up. Even with perfect timing, if you jump right when you see it, its too late. Memorize the timing, and try to predict when the rock would fall. Its a very short window to attempt this jump, but its safe to attempt it as long as you hold up, and jump from the highest point of the initial rope
