+7 x 30% means 7 x 5 dex = 35 dex
44 dex - 35 dex = 9 dex clean

 

Photoshop or error in library, or simply that one 30% semi-failed and gave only 4 DEX. Personally I believe the latter is what happened.

EDIT: I had a weak memory of 30%s giving 4 DEX back in GMS at some point, because I was myself using them to scroll a Battle Lord. I did some google searching now and found this: https://mapletip.com/useable-items/Dark+scroll+for+Overall+Armor+for+DEX/2040509

...Have these scrolls existed in Royals aswell?

 

One or more of the scrolls could have been a Chaos Scroll.

Maybe they Chaos scrolled the Chaos scroll.

My entire farm life from 14x to 17x as bishop at ulu1 has also resulted in 12/8 being the max. Never seen any 9dex before.

Yeah, this was sold by @deLuna , who says it's from a friend.

It doesn't seem to be a library error since I never get a 9 DEX clean one from my hundreds of hours of ULU 1 farming. But Luna won't know about it either, since it's from a friend. LF> the friend.

 

If this is accurate, then it's just the library being wrong, since we get +5 max on top of the highest normal range.

I have farmed over 30b from npcing equips at ulu1 in my royals career and have never seen white pioneer with 9 dex.

Just taking a wild guess, when I was excluding white potions from loot list on my pet, I noticed 2 white potions on the available exclusion list which were both tradable with identical description... Maybe, just maybe, white pioneer dropped from a non popular map has different ID or godly system to the common ones we get from ulu1 and harpies?

 

I sold a 14/13 overall once, i was shocked to see that the stats can go that high

 

Not a clean White Pioneer I suppose?
