Only let characters Level 50+ Trade Chaos/White Scrolls

In most normal situations, there should be no reason a level 49- should have access to chaos/white scrolls since they aren’t even allowed to buy gatchapon yet.

If we removed the ability to the trading of cs/ws and combined with the hinted return of auto-ban (to prevent RWTers to bot to 50), it should affect, or at least make it more difficult, to RWT.

We should give characters under 50 the ability to trade APRs cause some people want to wash early.

We could also potentially implement the same rule to B coins.

The only downside I can see are new players 49- from winning cs/ws from giveaway events. If there are any negative outcomes to this suggestion please voice your opinion!

I can see people just circumventing this by using other items - apples, popular stable-ish scrolls like shield Matk, stoppers, equips etc

Seems pretty inconvenient for RWTers to sell bulk apples/stoppers/etc. A large reason they sell CS/WS probably, is cause theres always a demand for them.

For the end buyer. I value apples at 13m.
    Its 35-37 apples per cs/ws. It’s a lot harder to sell 35-37 apples than 1 CS/WS.

It would make it super inconvenient for the buyers to get shield matt/stoppers/apples. Instead of CS/WS/Bcoin.

Also many who rwt cs/ws use it to scroll. If they got bulk apples they would have to sell all of them to buy a cs/ws to scroll. (Or directly trade em).

I don’t think change will end rwt but help make it more inconvenient at least.

I agree. I just view it like that because RWTers will just find another way when their old way has been removed. Manipulating the market is one of them they could easily achieve that. I am all for making it inconvenient for them all >:D

Ignoring the viability of the suggestion itself, imagine the logistics of getting all the CS/WS off of mules.

Maybe there's a way to enable a one-way trade so they slowly leave mules?

    good idea

the logistical problem of moving cs/ws off of mules could be reduced with an announcement an ample amount of time before a change like this is implemented

I support the idea to a large extent - will surely help in reducing RWT

Just need to figure out ways to clear out the existing Chaos / White Scrolls on pre-50 Mules

This seems good, to allow the mules only give but not take
(unable to prevent RWT for the existing scrolls, but able to stop the future trades)

Simply not realistic. Players routinely go inactive for months at a time then come back, to implement a change like this and cost many unfortunate players tens to hundreds of billions would be a nightmare.

Could be. I've never looked at the actual coding behind the game, but given that MapleRoyals isn't running on a vanilla v62 source anymore it might be a possibility through dynamic flags.

50- mules would still have the ability to put them into storage if you’re storing them on accounts with your main/etc.
I didn’t think many used mules to store cs/ws personally.

I don't know anyone who puts all his/her ws or cs on a storage mule, most people hold it in their storage because its so valueable.
But, lets say, worst case scenerio. You log on one day, after a long break, and realize you cannot trade out your scrolls from your lvl 15 item mule.
There are two options in front of you:
    1. post in character issues that you missed the window to trade out your white scrolls and chaos scrolls from your mule, GMs will look into your claim, and make a decision if they are willing to transfer it. (their call).
    2. suffer a bit, and level that mule to lvl 50, at worst it would take you a week or so, but to recover a lot of scrolls, it is undoubtly worth the effort.

Its not like those scrolls would be lost forever, you'd still have options to recover them. Not as big a disaster as you make it out to be.

Honestly I’d just level. It’s really not hard to get to level 50 via cpq or leeching yourself

1000% agree to a change like this. Shouldn't be hard to implement at all.

It's a shortening of the phrase "Real World Trader". Reffered to any player that bought ingame items from someone else using real world money. FYI it's a bannable offense ~imboss
