Hello royallers, Let us give a big thank you to our staff and developers that put in all the hardwork to come out with new contents for us. And this post is to perhaps let the staff/devs see what should be improved/ adjusted in this patch. Scarlion / Targa EXP Scarlion / Targa rewards extremely little exp, i would like to see the EXP buffed like what they did to papulatus. let me know what you guys think. Scarlion / Targa Drops And the drops from scarlion/targa, are they worth fighting besides the helmet? should there be adjustments and additional stuff? What else do you guys think should be improved? wat other drops do u want bro... the helm is easier to get than zhelm since the prequest is easier n cheaper n its even better than zhelm already
Personally I don't want to see the EXP getting buffed. But I guess it won't hurt to add some buffs pots like Energizer, if it's not already dropping.
I actually think it is as hard (as annoying to kill) as zakum thanks to the constant weapon cancel buffs. Not going to say much though, until I get more runs in.
I think how scar/targa is perfectly fine as it is; A boss catered to endgame players who seek to upgrade their helm. Thus the low exp and tight timer limit is highly justified.
Hi Tect, calm down, this post is to see the players opinion, not mine. Well i havent done scarlion/targa prequests. I looked at the statistics/numbers thats all. But !! IF u asking what i want... the exp buff wont be good on a second thought because that would make leveling easier which is definitely not what we want or what the devs want! AS FOR DROPS, i think some additional stuff would be nice.
I can't really vote for anything without knowing what items are in consideration as additional drops Do you have anything in mind?
Hey Crimsonclaw! perhaps like what Kai said earlier, energizers? or more equips ? things like that. think of it as... small additional drops to give the players more reasons to run scarlion/targa (something along these lines)
well im just saying. the helm better than zhelm with an easier prequest so i dun think that there should be any other buff for it. at least for now. but most importantly, i think instead of putting forward buff suggestions first, we should wait for all the bugs to be fixed before we come forward since like u, i havent done it yet despite having done pres on a bunch of my chars so i cant really say much abt it. at that time, with more people having experienced the boss it shld be more easier to see like which part is shit n requires buff Spoiler btw if yall havent noticed yet, i suck at explaining myself so do lemme know if wat i just typed out sounds like rubbish i will try to explain myself
hey tect, you are right, perhaps this post should be posted at a later date, this way, many players would have experienced the new content enough to give opinions on improvements. And yes, definitely, bugs comes first! this can come later. XD Spoiler so many "perhaps" in my sentences
This is exactly why this boss doesnt need any EXP buffs. There are trade offs for each boss in Maplestory. The low EXP for the kills are Scar/Targa's trade off for its ease to enter and the fact you get the most powerful Helm in the game (Unless Royals doesnt allow Godly to roll on them IDK i havent played or paid a lot of attention, then they're the 2nd most powerful helms) Increasing the EXP they give only hurts Zak runs more.

Zakum’s point is also the helms, yet people who don’t even need to reloot keep doing it, for the possibility of gene20 and 5k, the experience & also selling services of helms + books. At the moment the only point of scar/targ are purely the helms, so right now if you already have a perf helm there’s not really a reason for you to even do the prequests My suggestions: a chance of 5k, 50% chance of gizer (let’s not flood the game), 2-3 helms, also I suggest an extremely low chance of 20-books like se20, hurricane20, tt20 (lower the chance in zak, there’s too many in the market), TL 20, met20, blizz20 and some other books I can’t think of right now. Also a suggestion: make Zakum drops match scar/targ but lower the chances in both
this is true, is going to be like dojo, once everyone got the belts they want nobody goes to dojo anymore, once "atackers" got scarhelms, therebis no other reason to go...
