As anyone can see, there is not even one person interested in doing LMPQ (Ludi Maze PQ). I just tried last night with my three lvl51-70 chars. I spent 12min on finishing this pq and finally got 192 coupons. However, at last, I only got 57.6k exp. That means each coupon only worth 300 exp. Farming on my spearman char or cleric char will definitely give more exp than LMPQ considering the time consumed. And CPQ2 rewards far more exp than LMPQ. I only got 50 Elixirs and 3 ciders totally in my three chars. OPQ and simply farming will give more reward especially considering the event items, which can be sold for much mesos.Even worse, I found that when I leveled up to lvl51, there is not any notification saying that there is a PQ named LMPQ. Ppl don't even know there exists such a PQ. Altogether, this is an interesting PQ. It requires collaboration, since some rooms are designed for cleric and some rooms are for bowman/NL/corsair. It also involves some simple mathematics which adds to its fun. I think it is better to notify this PQ when ppl level up to lvl51, just as CPQ2 and OPQ do. Also, slight change on exp and drastic change on reward can save LMPQ from my perspective. That attempt will not change the balance between CPQ2, OPQ and LMPQ, since exp favor will definitely choose CPQ2. Yet the item rewards will attract at least some ppl to do it and enjoy it.
[Laughs in legoman] Jokes aside, from my experience, this is a very fun pq to do with friends, each finds his own route, and you optimize together to finish the pq as quickly as possible. I think my team managed to finish the pq in 2.5 mins pretty consistantly with over 150 tix each run after we got the hang of it. It's definitely not cpq, but the exp is not trash either, its at least better than grinding exp. I believe what's lacking is the 150 tix reward pool. A few useless pots and dark scrolls for def leaves much to be desired :/
Yea, you are definitely right. The problem is that I cannot find some one to play this PQ with me. They just say that CPQ2 has better exp. I tried to play with one guy as well as my three mules and we can finish it within 8 min. If I can recruit some experienced guys, i think it is possible to pass it within 4~5min. What i suggest here is, maybe we can change the reward of LMPQ to attract some guys to do it. Then, the exp/time rate will be drastically raised. It's in low efficience if you try to finish the whole PQ by yourself. At the same time, this behavior will not nerf CPQ2 and make CPQ2 favors unpleased, since they may go to CPQ2 for its simplicity and exp. And most important, I think it is necessary to let more ppl know this PQ. When I leveled up to lvl51, there wasn't any notification about LMPQ. This PQ has no reason not to be buffed, otherwise, it will be (and actually has been) totally dead. Note here, the logic is not because it will be dead, we need to do something to save it, but is that we should improve unreasonable part of mapleroyals to make it a more enjoyable and balance game.
Small tip: you should put focus on speed, not a full clear. There are rooms which contain annoying mobs, and rooms that give great rewards for low effort. Notable maps would be the zombies for aoe classes like mages, and taurus if you have a very strong single target player (priority for melee so you wont need to worry about positioning). Also, mobility is important so haste is helpful to keep a run going quickly. Any leftover player can deal with the other maps. Most important thing is to time it all so that everyone will finish their part roughly at the same time, if some finish before the rest he can start room 9. Once you get a rythm going, everyone will be able to finish roughly at the same time, and not wait for too long in room 16.
Thanks for your advice. After trying several times by my three chars, I know the situation in all rooms in general. I allocated room 3,4,9 (mc and jr.yeti) and room 1,11 (zombies) to my cleric. And I allocated room 2,5,6,7,8,10 to my spearman. My bandit is hp washing, so she can do nothing except haste. I don't have too much choice if there are not enough ppl willing to do this PQ. I aimed at 150 coupons, since otherwise you'll only get exp. I think that if GMs want to make this PQ attractive and considering this PQ is kind of potions-oriented, they can add some good potions in the bonous stage, rather than (power) Elixirs and ciders. For example, they can add Maple Pop, heartstopper to the bonous stage with a relative low probability. Since you cannot get non-exp bonous if you get coupons less than 150, which is not that easy for a lvl66+lvl51+lvl51 team, it will not affect the economy too much.
Hii, friend. My semester has begun and I no more have time to play Royals xD. Maybe you can make a new thread to find ppl interested in LMPQ. Good luck!
