This fix is for players who are crashing to desktop when selecting character (or after entering their PIC). Replace the old mr.dll within the MapleRoyals folder with this new mr.dll file: Download mr.dll for 1024x768 Download mr.dll for 800x600 If this fix proves successful for everyone having this issue, it will be included in the next setup. Please let us know if this works for you.
I can verify it works now. In case multiple types of disconnects get mixed up, mine was after typing pic, instant disconnect with "You have been disconnected from the login server". Edit: In unfortunately did not test this correctly. It does not work actually. I did find a possible cause though, VPN programs seem to be part of the issue. I can connect to a dedicated IP, immediately disconnect VPN, and it works as normal afterwards until computer restart.
Thanks for the confirmation! Sorry to hear that, then I advise that you create a ban appeal, as this may have a MAC ban issue instead.

Won't banned players gets locked out once they put in their password, not when they select a character?
Tried the VPN method, still doesn't work in either scenario (with or without dedicated IP) MAC bans close after character selection I believe, after some research on this issue. Not account/character related. It doesn't look like the mr.dlll is a solution for some people still. I mentioned this in a different thread but using VMWare with a W7 operating system seems to work for connection, I am however, experiencing GFX issues in zak/horntail. Still better than not being able to get on at all.
VMWare did also work for me too until i tried the VPN method. I just used the same VMWare settings on Win XP i had from previously. Mine is definitely not a MAC ban though. As I am still using the same mac address as I had when the issues come back.
Lol I'm not sure if connecting to a canadian vpn server or the mr.dll worked, but after installing and replacing the mr.dll, I tried without using NordVPN, but then I tried connecting to Canada and it worked. Ugh weird
... again, doesn't work... And my 30 day store is about to expire... and barely got to use it... and missing out on all the golden eggs... AGHHH!!! so sad
This is not resolved, I still have to use my VPN and shuffle around different IPs for 15mins to be able to play. I am sorry but the download did not work for me. I really do appreciate that you guys are trying I really do.
This worked for me, but today when I cced to ch1, I got a message 'you appear to be missing files' and crashed. I assume it had something to do with this since I've never seen that before. Was able to log in normally after that, but going to be avoiding ch1 for now, just in case.
doesn't seem to work for me. before i would get a message "You have been disconnected from the login server", but now after installing the dll file it just closes with no message.
Fixed when stopping NordVPN-service.exe in Details tab of task manager. Didn't even use it/have it running when playing the game but that fixed the issue for me.
