Im so frustrated this thing is nearly impossible...how did you guys go through this jq, Im so bad at it!
you can always do the alternative way. Nice guide recently made by @crimsonclaw. I haven't done it myself but it says the whole thing takes 15 hours. Other than those 2 ways, there is no way. Personally, I would keep trying jump quest. 15 hours seems too long for the prequest.
I usually refer these two guides on Youtube [1][2] whenever I'm stuck. The key is to have patience and recognizes you going to keep failing ~ You might want to remove any medal or name rings that might distract you and toggle off all smega announcements using ~setting megaphones disableall command. Good luck ~
Yea 15 hours is really too long I wanna try out the quest personally to check if I missed out anything, but feel too lazy to do the entire questline PS: I still need about 40 minutes to 2 hours to complete Jump Quest
It first took me 3 hours + to get both JQs done but practice makes things perfect. After gold tooth farming, I did 30+ JQs in a row to convert 1000 gold teeth to EOFs and by then, I could finish them with an average of ~5min per round. Watching youtube video helps a ton and once you find out the pattern, it becomes a chilled walk in the park.
If you think of it as a part of the game and enjoy, then you might be less stressful. And the feeling when you first finish that jump quest is pretty satisfying. Like beating a final boss.
Once you get it, you will be able to complete it intuitively, maybe with your eyes closed (better not though).
I used to hate the JQ also, for me at helped to realy take my time for it. If you realise you are not focused on it or get angry about it take a break. Staying calm is the key to success with JQ's.
I remember taking about 1~1.5 hours first time i did the JQ, not counting breaks to punch a wall. But after finishing it like 5+ times, i can clear it in 10~15 mins on avarage. Just break each area into segments, and try to master them one at a time, you'll eventually go through the entire thing with falling only once or twice. Youtube guides are really helpful for the first time if you are still having trouble
I remembered clearly I dced in part 1 when I could see the exit. But i wasnt flip-the-table mad cuz I practiced enough before to get the HANG of it. Pun intended.
I can never climb to the top of the rope in the last section of the stage 1 before a rock knocks me back to the previous rope. Any tips on that please?
You should predict when it falls, instead of reacting to it falling before the jump. Because your character should already jump as soon as the rock shows its first pixel on the screen. Try having a feel for the rate of it falling, and try to jump slightly ahead of time. Be careful though, cause if you get hit by the rock when you are in the air, you will fall down for sure
I actually went thru it and it looked alright. Good guide. Yes, it (might) take longer than the JQ but I decided to try it out and take it as leveling my character at the same time as well. Not too bad really. Plus they've increased the spawn rate of Blin. So yep, I'd defo recommend it for ppl who hate JQ with a passion
last character i cleared it in just one try that's my record! But i love this jump quest so hard! I more dislike the part of hunting them gold teeth
