Petition to end Halloween Gauntlet

This is honestly THE worst thing in the entire world. Whoever designed gauntlet does not understand game design. Here are 10 reasons why Gauntlet should be removed:

1. It's not fun. Video games are supposed to be fun. This is the absolute antithesis of fun.

2. People talk about it as if it's a basic jump quest that nobody in the world has trouble with. That makes people like me, who for some reason can't even finish the first stage let alone win a damn round, absolutely livid.

3. Only stupid people like it.

4. Since pets are distracting, I find myself putting them away for gauntlet. Then after my opponent laughs at me, tells me I suck and brags about their winnings, I return to the battlefield without a pet to autopot me only to be immediately killed by a Taurospear. THANKS MAPLESTORY.

5. I just know that there are going to be super clever people responding to this telling me that number 4 is my fault. Well no, you're wrong: it's gauntlet's fault because GAUNTLET SUCKS.

6. I'm honestly so mad and it doesn't even make sense, I don't usually get mad let alone this obsessively mad and fixated so when I tell you that gauntlet drives me over the edge, you should be thinking "Okay, maybe this gauntlet thing is bad for mental health..."

7. The gauntlet leaderboards are a joke; there's one guy at the top who thinks he's the coolest mapler in all of mapleroyals just because he's amazing at jumping. He probably plays so much maplestory he has lost the ability to jump in real life.

8. Every gauntlet takes a month off of a mapler's life. Please don't let your friends do gauntlet.

Why must the whole server stop an event just to comprehend with your inability to win?

 

I say on Halloween, we do a gm JQ event with 200 people in masters gauntlet room. First to pass wins something unique and no one else would have.

The only annoying thing with gauntlet (which isn't gauntlet's fault, I feel the same way in any game) is when I lose, especially when I lose by a split second and my opponent turns around and says something, like "GG". It's not a good game for me when I lose by a split second, shut up

 

thats why if i win i usually say something like "hahaha pwned fucker ! " or "bitch ass punk ass head-ass" instead

"Good Game" is just too much salt
