Title speaks for itself. Grinding for an hour just to finish one turn in is just terrible, espeically because this is only a 10 days event. Please consider increasing the spawnrate matt or idk, make the turkey have a higher chance to drop each of the ingridients, so that there will be less times where you just wait for 1 ingridient and get constantly trolled by the turkey.
I used a bishop to farm for 10 chars' worth of ingredients within 30 minutes at Jr Wraiths. Where were you grinding?
Friends and guild members with 4th job mages can surely help each other knowing mages have superior grinding abilities. From what I've felt, turkey's spawn rates weren't bad overall. I'll try to farm one set on my corsair later for an experiment but 1 hour seems like an exaggeration.
i think turkeys might only spawn in maps with lvl 30+ mobs or something like that. I farmed at Henesys Hunting Grounds 1/2 and no turkeys in 30+ mins Then went to Ulu 1 and found turkeys in <60 seconds lol
Not an exaggeration, a fact. I grinding for an hour on my 2nd job bandit before i got a set of items. turkeys only spawned after every 10~20 mins of killing mobs (yes, lvl 30+ mobs). While I'm sure 4th job classes and ulti mages can get these sets quickly, there's no reason for it to be THIS bad for everyone else.
Bandits usually can mob only one enemy at a time untill 3rd job, which limits his farming potential. In your case, is this bandit ironman or legoman? Well, later I'm going to try this event, hope the spawn is kind with me.
Had the same feeling while grinding my Bishop at ulu2. Took me about 45 minutes to see my first Turkey. For info : I 2hit the mobs there with my lvl 123 Bishop... Maybe we were both unlucky but still, I even ask my guildies about it and they told me it was strange because they didn't have to wait for so long but couldn't really tell me how long they farm to finally get one appearing on their map. Let's wait and see I guess
Hello again ! I did some stats on my personal Turkey Spawn rate.... it's indeed a nightmare.. For 1 hour of full ulu2 2hit with bishop lvl 123 (lvled up to 124), I killed (based on ETC drop only) : 1800 veetrons 1200 slygies If you take that I forget to loot 10% of ETC and also mobs only drop around 80% of the time, I killed around 4000 mobs. Turkey : 3 Drops got : 3/4 (missing the sugar... not dropped from the 3 turkeys) Overall stats : 1 turkey every 1000-1500 mobs.. I mean.. I won't complete this event.. getting back to work on Monday, only 7 days left and need to farm that many mobs to only get 3 ETC out of 4... no thank you.
I was self leeching at Python and saw way too many Turkeys. Hmm does the spawn rate change depending on the map?

I know it's tradeable But I won't have the ring.. need to trade 10 times.. and the ETC from Turkey is untradeable..
@KWJ Indeed, I just went to Python Map and 2 turkeys appeared in less than 10min of farm... I guess I will continue to use this spot... still pretty broken if you ask me...
After reading other people experiences, I find it weird that you were able to farm 10 chars worth of ingredients withing 30 minutes. I don't support mulestory too, so I don't like to use any mage of my own, but a friend of mine who mains bishop just told me he spent 45 minutes at Jr Wraiths map and he wasn't able to find not even 1 set for his unique char.
You can easily get over 10 character worth of ingredients at Jr. Wrath with one guild member as bishop.
Well if u don't play mulestory, I usually spend 10 mins hunting 1 set of ingredients per 4 hours on my drk. 6 turn ins and my pilgrim hat is already exchanged. I hunt at the hidden golem map in sleepwood if anyone is interested.
I tried to hunt too, and honestly I think I was wrong, not that I ever said spawn rates needed some change but I thought about it since I felt it was really hard to find turkeys. But I THINK it ain't that bad. Took me around 10 minutes to farm my first set and 15 minutes for my second. This without mage
