Move grandma Benson to free market during event

I know this event is kinda short, but it's pretty boring to leave temple of time or other maps that are far away to trade loot with her, and tp rocks aren't something viable for new players to get... so it could be a good idea, right?

 

The fact that she's in henesys kinda limits my grinding spots to be either in victoria island, or at spindle maps. Cause anywhere else requires some sort of travel time. I like turning in items then rushing back to pick up stuff i left behind, so if the place i trained at is too far from victoria island, that would be impossible. And in general, i don't want to go through so many ships just to return again after i do the turn in.

 

Another possible option would be to have her in other main towns just like with Malady during the Halloween event if that's easier to implement.

Either way I do agree that having her only in Henesys makes it a bit of a hastle.

 

I grind ToT and I have no issue using the portal to Ellinia. If events like this didn't make me travel I would probably never go to Victoria Island so it's nice to have an excuse.

New players aren't going to be at ToT or Leafre, and even if they are, 30k either way travel isn't exactly going to bankrupt a newbie.

 

Ludi is the big issue, its the farthest place by travel from victoria. You need to either travel by boat to orbis, or walk from the elevator to aqua road then mu lung. And after than either a ship to victoria or ariant and a warp to victoria. You'll need to do this back and forth for at least 10 times in this event if you want to be in ludi, so you might as well just stay in victoria, which sucks

 

Totally agree with all of these. I'm grinding only the monster cards in Victoria Island to get the quest done, cause the others aren't just viable, I won't travel for more than an hour every time I want to give back the items, neither spend 12m on it (2 characters).

The other problem is that I'm not being able to do daily bosses like pap anymore since I'm staying in Victoria Island.

 

Be respectful to your elders, you don't treat them like this. Shes old and lived her whole life in Henesys, she ain't gonna move just cause you lil shits cannot walk there.

 

A tip for Maplers, Amoria is pretty good for farming turkeys. Just a few maps away from Grandma and we can get some keys for Apq too!

If they implement this, it would make sense to move Mom&Dad too.

There aren't currently any plans to move Grandma Benson or Mom & Dad.

 

That means there are plans to do so :O

 

Haha, sorry, that was posted about 2 minutes after I woke up at 5:27 my time. I edited the post.
I can also elaborate, as an old person myself I know how Granny Benson feels. She doesn't want to leave her spot slightly outside of Maya's house, since Maya is her granddaughter and she is looking after her while sick.
Mom & Dad are stuck where they are because they bought a time share in that map and we all know how hard it is to get out of one of those.
