Omega Sector is basically the most remote location in the game right now (besides maybe Zakum and HT's maps), and yet still has a late-game use in the shape of iTCG crafting. Being able to make use of the Nautilus teleporter regularly would be a very nice QoL update to have, methinks.
It would be nice... but eos tower scroll is pretty easy to get as well (kill 20 Black Ratz and collect 5 of their regular etc drop to Roly-Poly 10). Omega isn't hard to get to at all.
I agree with ImVeryJelly in that the journey to Omega is not so crazy (given one has a fast travel ticket.) If you find that you're frequently needing to travel to Omega Sector, then you should either consider using teleport rocks, or park a mule there for your purposes. For both Zakum and HT, I typically travel using my Fast Travel Ticket (or Magic Seed), then I use a regular rock to teleport to close maps and walk. Why should Omega be any different? As for the original idea, I do like it, as it breathes fresh air into a sadly temporarily used piece of content. However I do not like the ease of obtaining a Warp Card should it be repeatable. If Warp Cards were to become obtainable (after exhausting the ones gained from quests), I would at the very least like to see the repeatable quest function like the Piece of Cracked Dimension quest. That is, if the user has at least one card in their inventory, the quest is unavailable. If the quest is a moderate chore and functions as previously mentioned, then I'm for it. After all, this item allows one to skip from Victoria Island to Ludus Lake instantly. **I should note that the magic seed does exist, allowing players to travel between Vic and Leafre at a minimal cost. This is comparable to a Warp Card functionality-wise.
Apparently, it was an odd choice that GMS made to this quest because, in MSEA back then, it was a repeatable quest and was issued daily every 24 hours as long as you don't have any Warp Card left, meaning that you'll get 5 more warp cards every time you repeat the quest (until they updated to just make it work like Florina Island VIP Ticket). Anyway, I see nothing wrong making this quest repeatable, a bit of convinience and quality of life changes doesn't hurt.
Omega would be different because it's a regular town hub and not an endgame boss arena. This QoL update would basically have a similar function as the Magic Seed does in making Leafre less remote (which is already less remote than Omega Sector when you start on Victoria Island and don't use the Ellinia portal). I find it kinda odd you argue for using teleport rocks (the cost of repeated use will accumulate over time) or parking a mule (making an additional character, multiclienting, and still spending meso/NX on teleport rocks just to reach a single, not particularly spectacular area in the game?) while simultaneously acknowledging Magic Seeds exist, proving that this sort of accessibility/travel meta is completely unnecessary.
I was addressing your mentions of Zakum/HT. Would you prefer me to compare to Leafre and El Nath instead? As my post indicates, I'm for it with modifications. The magic seed is already in the game, however if it were up for debate I would argue for it to be more expensive (or slightly more difficult to obtain.) I just thought it would be disingenuous to not mention it. I do acknowledge after further thought that it's not really as significant as I made it out to be in my first comment. At the same time, teleport rocks are fairly cheap, and convenience should have a cost, in my opinion (time, meso, etc.) Again, if you are visiting Omega so many times that this is that important to you, then perhaps the low one-time cost of parking a mule there is the better method.
