What do you suggest for drops? for me a 160+ grind spot should have reasonable exp to hp ratio like neo tokyo or ToT rates should be sufficient. Medium spawn with several flat-platforms, or high spawn with messier terrain like ellin, or medium-low spawn with high level mobs on a flat platform map. Best to have a mixture of all types of maps. Map teleports would be useful such as those introduced in ludi dungeon(the lower levels) 90, 100 or 110 equips, some ores, scrolls, with normal mesos drop rate (not nerfed like gallopera). No need anything fancy, just for some of us who love to grind after a hectic day at work. Perhaps I should open another feedback thread
Yeah sorry to derail lol No real suggestions... Just as I've reached higher lvls, I really miss getting drops from mobs (& the mesos from NPC'ing them).
Kerning square CD grind lvl 40-55 was legit a great addition, they would drop those 70% scrolls for accessory and such if i recall? another place worth adding to the game for the lower lvl ranges. About MK: This sounds like a golden opportunity to make custom boss drops for the lower level range perhaps? or maybe a custom accessory drop? king yeti&pepe minibosses gold, grey and white if i recall? which you could go in as parties and it would drop class boxes originally. you could modify the loot tables to weapons, accessories or scroll drops and buff up the boss? make it a low lvl boss challenge with decent exp rates? just a thought. i remember lvl30>40-45 was pretty good here for the quest exp and a little bit of grind.

Yes, but not in its original state... I've gotten to play this content on another server, and to put it bluntly, i remembered it through rose tinted glasses, it was a very bad expansion. Some issues that would require changing: 1. lvl gated, you can only stay there for a specific lvl range (was it 30 to 40? something like that). On gms it was ok cause lvling up was harder, and it provided access to good lvl 35 weapon (for a gms player lol). This content is very grindy, so i bet in royal's rates, you'd hit the lvl limit by the time or even before you reach the final boss. 2. the quests were long and grindy for this lvl range, very dull "give me 100 ETC of this" and "kill 200 of that", the only thing that stood out was that it was the first area to contain cutscenes. 3. on royal standards, the rewards of doing this questline are beyond insulting. the lvl 35 weapon you get a chance to earn from the lootbox is not any better than the weapons you find at npc shops or mob drops. everything else that is gained there isn't even worthy for a completely new player at lvl 30-40. Suggestions: rebalance mobs to a bigger lvl range (30-50), remove the lvl gate, and rebalance the drop pools to at least be worthwhile for these lvl ranges to grind (and especially rebalance the final boss to not be a 1 shot enemy, with worthless items).
It was still HELLA fun. MK should be extended here to level 45-50 at least and make the custom boss drops too, maybe choose a boss as ” easy, normal or hard ” mode. I honestly made tons of friends in mushroom kingdom, i would play it anytime lvl 30-40 rather than cpq leech or kill teddies in ludi >.> Or just keep MK as it was but just get less exp from the quests?
I was actually shocked to find that Mushroom Kingdom was not added onto this server. Same with Dual Blade, Evan and Aran+CK but those make sense when it comes to class balance. Mushroom Kingdom missing? Disgusting.
Yeah i also love those classes, but they aren’t really part of the classic experience. The only class before BB patch was Aran and Evan. I would love to see at least aran and knights of cygnus here. But then royals wouldn’t feel that nostalgic anymore if those were added. but yeah the point is, mushroom kingdom was dope as heck, i miss that map i think it’s even older than most contents that royals has here.

i think it'll be fine to nerf the slots to 5, 8 stat as well, but yea, items like that definitely add more value to a new player, providing them a (ugly) hat to use early game that gets outshined tens of lvls later when they can either afford to buy a zhelm, participate in an event, or simply get a godly roll on a class hat.
If they add mushroom kingdom sadly I will literally never do it. I did it too many times before and it doesn't offer any value for me. If it's easy to code then I guess why not? Though, I think CPQ, LPQ, KPQ and grinding/leeching offer enough variety from 30 to 50 compared to other stretches. I'd personally rather have more content from 70-120 or something or more end game content.
