Hi everyone As the new rose garden quest has been out for a few days already, I am curious as to what everyone thinks the meta is for the bonus stage where we hunt gold bees. Would appreciate it if you could share with me how many gold bees you are able to hunt in the span of 30minutes, and what level/class character along with what buffs/att potions as your optimal choice. I used my bowmaster and I am only able to get around 10 gold bees on concentrate(gizer). If I appled I can farm to 20 gold bees but thats it. I could be doing it wrong considering the opinions I received from bl/guildmates are that they get 20++ gold bees using gizer so would love any feedback/suggestions you guys have on the new quest, especially for single target classes like bowmasters.

They also have reduced KB on Rush, making them not ideal for Warriors. Room 2 and Room 3 are superior to them. Will update again in a few hours after I do another round on Hero in room 3 and room 2 with my Paladin. My guildie BM said he got 11 bees but I forgot which map.
I'm a 200 shadower, 9k range (without buff). I have MW10 available inside only. In 4 runs I've gotten a total of 107 bees. For the first 3 runs I used stoppers and farmed in maps 2,3 and averaged bees in the mid 20s. In my most recent run I used gizer and got 31 bees in the first map. As a shadower I find the first map to be the most ideal for me. Feels like attack pot doesn't really matter much on this scale, especially if it doesn't really affect the average number of hits you need to kill a mob. I could be wrong though.
I am curious to know, do the golden bees spawn based on us killing mobs or based on us doing actions like skills. Because there has been instances of me just moving across the map to find more mobs to hit and golden bees spawning. But at the same time I feel like if I appo, i kill more mobs and it has been tested that the days i do use appo i get 20-21 bees while on days i use concentrate/gizer i get significantly lesser golden bees spawn. The reason I am asking about attack potions is because I kill the golem spawn much faster with appo (50k arrows) compared to gizer (35k-38k arrows) and in a timespan of 30mins it adds up to a lot more kills overtime. So if golden bees spawn based on mobs killed it would affect the number of gold bees I get. (Correct me if I am wrong on this info about gold bees spawn)
Ah okay so its not just me thats tripping. Other bowmasters have the same issue as well as a single target low dmg class we have difficulty killing the mobs and essentially having a lower gold bees spawn rate. Thank you!
It's based on mobs. Each kill has a 5% chance to drop an invisible item that's consumed by the map to spawn a bee
There were a few instances where gold bees spawned without me killing any mob. Could that just be a delay from the last mob I killed?
okay so im going to use apple for the entire bonus stage and see how many gold bees i summon since i kill the golems way faster. thank you
Hi everyone. Thank you so much for your feedback and help. Genuinely appreciate it. I tried using three onyx apples for the entire bonus stage duration today and got 27 golden bees. The mob I was at was the short golems kekw. Overall I am a little salty since other classes with good mobbing like shad/hero or possibly magicians are able to get the same amount of gold bees using just gizer/normal matt pot but I cant complain because each classes have their own weaknesses and if I have to use 3 appos a day so be it. An incredible update nonetheless. Thank you all.
So I've ran it every day since release on my bucc, my conclusions: Lvl 198 Bucc with Gizer: Room 1: terrible grind in comparison to the other 2, 14 bees. (but still segnificantly better than oblivion 4) Room 2: better spawn and layout than room 1, but didn't grind on it the full 30 mins yet Room 3: Best for both exp and bees, my average is around 18 bees, and my best was 24 Also, just general info for those who are interested, at lvl 198 Bucc on gizer, every full run [including grinding stage 1, 2, and 3 beyond what I need], provide 10% exp per run, totaling to somewhat under 80 mins of grind.
im just wondering whether you are using hurricane for these roses, cause you were specifically talking about the single target dmg of BM? In that case I suggest you are using fire arrow and dragon breath as well. By using dragon breath, stun and fire arrow and bird I am at 15-18 bees per run in room 1 (lv200, 8.5k clean, no echo, conc + 2min downtime) and 2 runs total. Didnt try the other rooms yet. I was cycling clockwise and using push back to stack and then 1 stun occasionally and in general fire arrows to clear them when they are more than 3 and using push back + hurricane otherwise. I killed several 100s this way (I think I had like 320 etc in inv), and it didnt feel like my grinding was lacking. Especially on this map 1, my lv182 Bucc was really crap in comparison, since the mobility is way better for BM when grinding that map layout. Cycling the map with dragon breath alone was constant killing of stacked roses. 5% of 320 is 16 so it pretty much matches. I didnt get all bees though due to the "bee-net key" not catching them for whatever reason. Looked like a strange bug or more like a very unfortunate delay or something, but I only lost 3 bees 1st run and 1 bee second run anyway. Is only 2 runs so my experience is of course not really reliable. edit: tried room 2 now on my BM and got 19 dust with same dmg set up as above, so despite me killing them slower it was more dust this run. might be an outlier though. Had the feeling I killed less and got less etc in inv (290), and killing more is all that counts. Will try room 3 next time, but I guess it is room 1 for me then ...
I was indeed using hurricane the entire time at golems. I did not do room 1 because their magic attack with knockback was very annoying and ate a lot of pots. But now that you mentioned inferno arrows when u stacked them with dragons breath and getting 18 with just gizer, I’ll give it a try tomorrow. I guess the reason I did golems was because they drop burning energy and since I don’t do lhc as a lvl200, I thought it was better to farm them here while hunting gold bees. thank you for the suggestion sir
Yeah 3rd map is very good for burning energy, I usually get a bit over 100/run on bishop. Haven't really been tracking much on paladin, but I've been going to 3rd map just because the layout is so good to rush up enemies and ACB a ton at once. I've heard 2nd map is also pretty good for bees.
200 NL MW20 (rip no SE) Echo was up until last 2 minues or so Gizers Farming on the third map So far my lowest was 9, highest was 17. Didnt try to apple/stopper yet but from what I have noticed bees spawn feels kinda random, since I got almost the same amount of burning energy for every time I went. Also had a run today with no bees spawn in almost 10 minutes (still ended up getting 13 somehow) so it’s 100% random
170 Hero budget weapon without MW at third map 3 Apples 30 bees and ~77m exp 200 NL at first map 1 apple+ stopper 23 bees Too bad without SE my NL can’t constantly hit 30k to KB golems on third map I’d say it’s worth to apple if you’re under lvl 200 just for the exp?
I’m going to try using concentrate buff for first map today with inferno arrows and dragons breath but for the golems map, it’s definitely worth to apple throughout even at lvl200 Concentrate buff - 11 bees Apple x3 - 27 bees cost of appo - 24m Profit from bees - (27-11)x5m = 80m more compared to concentrate buff So there’s an additional 56m more if apple not counting the extra burning energy you can get.
I feel like IL mage is probably best here? What are you rates on bish vs IL? I'm getting around 35-40/day on 1500 tma bishop, and a bit over 100 energy although I don't really care about looting that so I'm likely missing a decent amount of it.
