Hi, This made it really easy to track inactive people a few weeks after an update, could we revert this back?
the list right now is automatically ordered from most recent log in to last log in, just go to the last page on your guild to see who's inactive
Bump, my small monkey brain likes the "???" because its much easier to see who is active an inactive. The list right now is sorted to when the server last went down/logins which my small monkey brain hates.
bump @LichWiz tried looking at that, but seems like the most inactive members somehow end up in the middle, closer towards the back. The most recently logged members on the first page, then most inactive like 3-4 pages from the back for some reason.
Except it doesn't work, took a quick look in my guild, I see someone at the bottom of page 2 who was online minutes ago, I see someone on the last page who was added this week to run GPQ. My guild is by no means active enough to explain either of two igns being placed like that other then that the current system does not work as intended. I genuinely have no clue why it was changed to this in the first place, the question marks made it clear immediately.
+1, it's a pain for guild leaders to work with atm If there could be a days ago active field (or hover ui element) - that would be incredible.. but maybe not true to old-school Ordering by last active reliably or reverting to ??? would be a big help however!
mhm, seems like it doesn't work anymore, when the feature was released they did seem ordered, im not sure what happened
I believe the guild member lists and ordering are created once the first character from that guild logs in after a sever check. However, I don't think this ordering is ever changed after that, until the next server check. I did notice one issue though, which is it appears that the ordering is being done by last login of the account rather than last login of character, which might be leading to a bit of confusion as well. Will fix that for the next update at least. Ideally we would like to have a mouse hover to show when they last logged in, something we will look into when our client editor finds time.
Okay that might explain it. Just a suggestion in case this would be an easy change: what if they were all ordered alphabetically after server reset, then any new logins are bumped to the front? That'd make it really easy to know who hasn't logged in since reset? It'd be the lump of alphabetically ordered people on the back pages? Right now it seems that newly added members ( I just added one and they logged off) are also getting put to the last page. Guildie I added a few days ago also on last page.
Just a data point- I like the new way because for more social guilds it helps me remember what level everyone is even if they haven't logged in for a while (people who come back for events and stuff)
same here, the job and level returning has been indispensable for me in ironman, we have over 200 in the guild, with a long history, so not everyone remember every user we had by name. knowing also the lvl and job helped remember these older players, and helped me clean up charscters that quit at like lvl 20
