The majority of the community likes living off drama and that is fine with me, but when rules don't equally apply to particular individuals, this is when I feel things are being done out of the blue without full staff's general agreement. What Zofran said got my attention when he mentioned he would not be able to post any thread anymore after he gets unbanned. When I look at forums' rules and the specific one concerning this situation, it states: "Breach of Forum Etiquette (5 Points) A breach of forum etiquette is a minor offense that may or may not result in warning points being applied to an offending player at the discretion of the responding forum moderator. Consistent doubleposting, spamming or thread flooding" What he has done so far, in my opinion, can't exceed the 5 point penalty since the higher reasonable possible penalty talks about "excessive spamming or flooding of a thread", which he never reached as of yet. He has only been trying to get in touch with the community most of the time through questions, if he was sincere and not trolling after all. However, nowhere it says in the forum rules and regulations that if someone gets unbanned from a bannable offense, he/she will find himself/herself deprived of his/her legitimate right to post threads and communicate with the Royals' community after serving their "sentence". Personally, I do not even know how he got a 13-day ban, which is close to 80 warning points accumulated, as he has never posted "[highly] inappropriate content [including] acts that are overwhelmingly unpleasant or otherwise extremely disruptive to the operation of the server". Asking him to shut the hell up the moment he gets unbanned, what is the point of being unbanned in the end if you cannot express yourself anymore? This is not making the server any healthier. When you be meming, you gotta do it with style. Jokes aside, my main point was even for what he did and had him accumulated so many warning points to the point that he would only get temporarily banned, asking him not to post any other threads anymore after he will get unbanned does not make any sense. Why will you be unbanned a person if he/she will not be able to post anything and share your his/her Royals' experience to the community anymore? Just legitimately permanently ban the person since he/she's been going too deep already, as far as the forum and regulation rules are concerned, so no more of those oversensitive situations will happen again. If a person gets unbanned, however, and that's why I am posting in this thread Evan, he/she should have all his forums' rights back, as simple as that.
He will have all his forum rights back when he is unbanned. He was simply advised not to create silly threads and to avoid causing drama. That is all. Please can we get back to memeing.
