Mildly annoying things

Getting tossed around like a ragdoll while you're trying to level at himes with a lvl 100 priest, and hope that your pet manages to auto heal you and not glitch and let you die

 

Oh yeah, here's a very mildly annoying thing recently.

A "mini" KSing kind of thing. A player passes by me on the map while I'm grinding, kills a few number of mobs on the map for a few seconds, then CC's. It distracts me and pisses me off, even when he or she didn't actually KS. I don't get the point of it either. They're testing my patience/reaction, or something? Even when I pass by someone who's on the map I don't do this crap to them out of respect.

And what's even more annoying about it? That it's not actually considered KSing and you can't report a player for doing this.

 

When I'm doing the witch challenge and this happens:

After picking up a key, it takes like 2-3 seconds (approximately) for it to register. I have picked up the last key and finished the map only to fail with the message that I failed to pick up all the keys, because I was too fast so the last key did not register.

 

*Cancels trade*

 

The funny thing with "offer" is, they expect too much from you. If they are selling something, they should state how much they are looking to be paid for it, not annoy others with the boring "offer" method. Sometimes they do it when they're buying something, too. It's kinda childish.

 

Zofran's rant posts on the forum is getting mildly annoying lately.

Lol might have been me. Sometimes I don't notice somebody is there straight away if distracted. I stop when I notice.

Wow that you'd want to see somebody banned for 3 days over that though (I assume that's why you'd want to report them...)

 

Well, to be honest, sometimes you have really strange and stupid assumptions. I recall this isn't the first time you say something stupid like this to me on the forums. When reporting someone, it's not necessarily for the purpose of seeing someone else banned. The GM can also simply warn the player to stop, without issuing a ban. If there's one thing, the last thing I care about is being a sadist about something like this. I don't enjoy seeing a player getting banned, as much as I wouldn't enjoy getting banned myself. Reporting is a legitimate thing in almost any situation, and even if the reported matter isnt bannable, a GM can take care of an issue without banning. He/she can explain, guide a player, etc. When you say "Report", that doesn't automatically mean getting someone else banned. Although, that's what jumps into your brain, it seems.

 

What's the GM gonna do though? Warn me to pay more attention when entering a map just incase it's Zofran in the map, who might become distracted and pissed off by me killing stuff before I notice he's there? Expect me to take an unserious game super seriously? Sounds like a waste of GM time to me.

Not everybody looks at the minimap constantly to see who's there (and the range on it is pretty limited anyway). And if you're chatting while walking somewhere, it's so easy to attack without noticing somebody is in the map. Thankfully though, I don't think the GM's, or infact 95% of the playerbase, see the issue when somebody kills a few monsters before realising somebody else is in the map.

 

IGN's that are ironic but (probably) aren't meant to be.

 

Pretty good one. If you would know how many players with ridiculous names I've seen, you wouldn't believe. Some have IGN's meant to be their real name with modified words, and instead of, "Tommy", for example, they write "Tommeeeeh". Like, the way his mom called him as a kid, or whatever.

 

When you join Zak as a "HB mule" to allow the party to take their VIP buyer, but the VIP buyer turns out to be a(n) **** (<-fill in with something appropriate) who's saying that Zak always drops 4 helms, and we are liars to tell him it can drop 2~5 helms. He refuses to pay, since Zak dropped only 3 helms.

 

hmm, give us the IGN please lol, need be blacklisted

 

When you are leeching two characters, and have hs mule. But like, 5 people an hour would still ask you “can you sell me leech service?” Or “do you need hs?”... comon guys, just a little bit awareness won’t harm you.

 

Hmm... I wasn't sure this was the right thread to reveal people's IGNs but, he will be blacklisted if he wants to. That is, if he fails on his second chance to give back my HP mask (which I let him borrow to survive Zak)

 

LUL i just recall a mildly annoying thing that I lended my HP gear to a new player for him to survive with hb in zakum, and he hacked latter getting banned with my gear. Although he apologized to me on forum PM...

 

An apology means a lot, it really does. But still so miiiildly annoying!

 

When a boss dispells all the fucking time. Like Griffey. I can solo bosses, as long as I have magic guard. This mother fucker dispelled me 3 times in 15 seconds... Can there be a cooldown for that skill plz?
