what are you talking about ? I don't even know you. Besides I don't play drop game nor ever wore wukong outfit.
So far, you are the only person in the entire forum who seem to be prioritizing the availability of drop game, which is categorized as scam in global MS, with specific 8 aforementioned items, due... to its intrinsic, symbolic value. I would really love to see more people who share a similar view with you as I still can't believe this is the biggest rebuttal against the suggestion. I'm pretty sure there are many other symbolic items that can serve similar purpose without harm. I was beginning to wonder if someone instigated you to hinder this suggestion. I don't think you realize how serious the issue of RWT is in royals. Are you thinking that staff has an AI with algorithm to fish out RWTers? They need to spend hours and days to go through log, chat history and every possible means to find a proof before they can confirm a case of RWT. They also rely heavily on player report because scanning a random RWTer out of 1k+ playerbase is like finding a needle from a haystack. There are survivals of RWTers among us today, as some of us failed to report them early enough before they established their excuses (We know who you are). New source was launched on 1st of Jan 2017 and for a long while, server was unstable and unprotected from hack/bot/RWT. When HT got fixed, era of RWT was born because literally every new NL had highly washed HP and epic end game gear. It took blood spitting effort of players and staff, over a year's period, to get rid of the majority but sellers are still hidden, lurking around the server, bringing imbalance to the economy and destroying the motivation of many dedicated players. Substantial amount of players already quit royals because they lost their motivation due to the prominent RWT. If the drop trade of specific att gear can be blocked, it will cripple the RWT sellers and forcefully discourage them to a point it may no longer be viable. I hope a staff can share their view on the issue of "drop game" to verify its popularity and value in the server as no sign of followup has been observed so far.
Tldr : Literally Spoiler A : Hi do you even know wtf you're saying? B : Dafuq fk u A : Fk you too B : No! FK YOU A : STFU, FK U B : YOU SYFU A : Whatever, just stfu B : Wtf? U STFU Spoiler: kek
I can pretty much confirm that drop game isn't something we endorsed, and in fact is something we advise against although it's not formally stated in the TnC since it's not a bannable action. Popularity wise, perhaps once in a blue moon when someone is quitting for real and giving out his/her (shitty) items.
Option 1) Upsetting a community of 1 who likes drop games + crippling the RWT blackmarket Option 2) Keeping a community of 1 who likes drop games happy + letting RWT'ers continue trading attack gear. I know which option I prefer. It seems to be the one that is better for the community. The number of people who might quit if they can no longer play drop games with attack gear seems far lower than the number of people who might quit if the severe RWT problems continue. Also, stop telling other people how to do their job. The GM's try their best, but it's actually a really challenging problem. Restrictions like this are sensible. It kinda reminds me of how in the real world, you need to declare high amounts of cash or very valuable items when going over some borders. This is to help prevent crime. Some people whinge and whine about it, but it is in the best interest of the majority of people. Same here.
I think this is a good idea and should be implemented asap for the same reasons the summon drops update was not announced. From what i read the only objections seem to be about miniscule matters, quitting players who want to drop their stuff, in which case i don't understand why they matter at all as they are quitting and no longer play the game, and "drop games" which are extremely rare and are not really fair anyway seeing as it's usually 1-2 guys with the best connection who get to loot everything. IMO this change is long overdue.
How will i troll people with dropping my zero att FS in fm now? ;~; Jokes aside i fully endorse this suggestion, its a very effective way of enforcing legal trades, and the natural progression after the ws cs drop ban proved so effective. I'll just need to find other drops to troll with now
I don't know if anyone recalls but at one point in MapleSEA you could no longer drop items in the FM. No idea if it was because of RWT but.. You know something, as a person who has braces I'm hella offended how dare you suggest this Guess my stupid 6/7 xbow will be safe then... Spoiler Obvious off topic last 2 points are obvious
