RUSSIAN ROULETTE FEEDBACK Why is it in a map where its hard to jump to the platforms? that map literally has holes in the ground for the top platforms so if u fk up a jump u get screwed over n also lag makes u lost in the sea of people so maybe do something similar to snowman where pets are kept upon entry? Suggestion: use something that doesnt have holes in the ground. maybe something similar to the 2nd stage of kpq where its just ropes. might just leave this here and forget abt it for a couple days n see how the discussion goes
just my thoughts: 1. implement chat mute command so GM's don't have to waste time repeating every single instruction just because people wanna be pricks 2. remove all pets upon entry - maybe for all events? it affects JQ's too 3. just like the coconut harvest, upon entry let everyone wear specific set of clothing? some NX items have effects that may block players from seeing the platforms properly
1. There's a reason why we give ample time for players to get onto the platform. We'll review the crowd and adjust the timing accordingly. 2. We're looking into how we can force pets to be kept. 3. We'll be implementing the necessary command required to mute players when necessary.
I like the idea of ropes, even if you are lagging, as long as you hold up, you won't fall after you jump. It also limits the amount of effects shown on the screen
Personally I think rope is even worse, because it's so thin that I don't think anyone can even reasonably see it, especially with everyone jumping around.
How about a command like ~disable megaphone but for players, so you cant see them/their effects/their pets, this would maybe fix DC/Lag and make it so you dont lose yourself in the crowd. Im running royals on a pretty decent gaming desktop and DCing in the beginning of almost every GM event which is why i dont join them so often anymore.
Thing is, there is no real reason to know which rope you are on, death is chosen by pure chance. highest priority is that the player won't easily fall while making their guess. Also, each jump corresponds to a single rope left/right.
