Everyone who’s ever been active on the shoutbox know and seen the repeating issue of the ‘unseen’ solutions above the chat. They tried to change it a bit before so people see it more clearly but it didn’t do much. The forum is gonna be renewed soon(tm?) but probably not in the near future, so let’s put together some suggestions to try and improve it and make it more noticeable! Make your own version of the shoutbox description using text and/or pics and we’ll see what looks best (on both mobile&PC) & then present it to Evan to check it out. Suggest away ~

I appreciate the fact you spend your time thinking about me and longing for my game master-y days, though this is off-topic so please don't comment here if you have no suggestions for the shoutbox description box, the intended thread purpose.
I like that direction and I'd take it even further - programming a bot or something automatic that whenever someone asks for specific question/info/help the bot recognizes the question and posts the relevant information/links
I don't think it's possible to program a bot for smart responses, probably a thread with FAQs I guess The reason I feel it's impossible for a smart bot / AI is cause every players will type their questions differently Example "Game unable to run", "game cannot start help"
There is a saying that you can bring the horse to the river but you cant force it to drink from it. Personally I don't think there's anything wrong with the current layout, it does what it's supposed to do and it's clear about it.... It's just a bad habit of people who like to ask for help before trying to help themselves.
Same with Discord I have pinned both the links of Account Recovery and Errors with update 60 but players will just post at GM assistance channel asking "GM plz help game no start" This issue is more of a problem with players being anxious to play the game - also why they skip T&C
That’s 100% true I completely agree, but it’s a fact it’s displayed right there and people miss it. It means it’s displayed incorrectly and blends in too much so people aren’t exactly presented with the river, the river exists but it’s like.. filled with ducks? I do think the change of the new color is gonna make people see it now so that’s nice
