We only have scrolls for face accessory that add hp or dex. I think it would be very much appreciated by everyone if it was possible to have scrolls that increased other stats. Having scrolls for int would stop me wasting money on chaos scrolls and creating bad maple leafs.
While we are at it, how about helmet for str? Face for str? Eye for str? Bottomwear for str? What makes mages special?
just saying, dex scrolls are good for literally every class except mage. nl + shad nid dex to wear their clothes bm + mm primary stat is dex warriors get range from dex bucc + sair nid dex either to wear their weap or for dmg only mages get fked over in this regard.
But in general there probably should be some newer scrolls to make things a bit more interesting and more of a reason for people to try get better gear.
I too would like the missing scrolls to be added. Would change the scrolling dynamic entirely (possibly gach too which is very stale) but ultimately not the actual gameplay as most of the stats impacted by these scrolls can already be altered via chaos scrolls. Things like: CSS 5-20% (10-20 rarer than CS/WS if added) Shoe ATT Cape ATT Earring STR Helm LUK/STR Bottom STR/LUK Pet equip for STR/DEX/LUK/INT (CS/trade glitch needs to be fixed first) Face INT/STR/LUK Eye LUK Top DEX
Remember that for each scroll you add to gacha, all other scrolls (from that gacha) become relatively more rare and therefore relatively more expensive, unless that one scroll makes another less desirable (like Shoe ATT, which I doubt would ever be added, would make shoe for jump cheaper). If they ever want this to happen, they'd have to spread the scrolls around different gachas, preferably the ones that are not used very often, but leave gachas like Mushroom Shrine alone.
They don't have to add them to gacha though, like we get ring and belt scrolls via event..... So it could be gacha, monster drop, boss drop or events.
If these get added, I'll start a post for Helm for STR and Earring for STR scrolls. They shouldn't be left out. :3
Reminder, this is a nostalgic server. While they do edit certain stats of items once in a while. I never saw them edit, let alone ADD a scroll. You said so yourself, that slot isn't useless, you can chaos event face accessories and maple leafs and get yourself a good face accessory. Btw, just some food for thought, but the main use of being able to put int on a face accessory would be a washing gear piece, not mage gear. I personally see no reason to add such a scroll, and that's coming from someone who mains a mage
It's funny because I'm like you and main and gear the magician class. And actually, I wouldn't want additional scrolls to make the gearing process easier. Speaking as someone who has white scrolled uh... 8-10 items to have perfect magic, the problem is that white scrolls guarantee success. There is no excitement to making something because success is a matter of time, not a matter of luck. I clearly remember using 35 WS to pass one slot on my ele 5 wand and it wasn't a big deal, because eh, save up and try another 10 WS next time. Chaos scrolls as the only way to upgrade some items brings the excitement of go big or go home, because there's no way to guarantee things will turn out well. I completely understand your frustration with scrolling a face accessory for int. I cut my losses at a 20 int 2 slot Maple Leaf (5 int 7 slot originally). But making stuff like that is special because it's hard. Just like the rest of the classes who want a non-dex Maple Leaf, pass a dex scroll on it, and chaos for two stats. I think the scroll layout is fine as it is. Heck, we have it way easier now than when I joined. Now we can re-egg our HTPs as often as we reloot them. Back then, it was one egged HTP per character. It was a one time quest. Now? We can re-egg, chaos the last two slots, doesn't turn out well? Reloot, re-egg, re chaos. Also now we have ring scrolls for all stats. WS an 8 int clean Almighty Ring from Krexel and there you go, 14 int ring. And so the only items which require chaosing for very high stats for our class are face accessory, shoe (especially chaosing for int and magic attack), and perhaps belt, ring, and cape if you want to make above perfect stat items (compared to WS only).
