so, I went over the list of quests in @bibz guide for the new questline, and first of i gotta say that I love it Its a questline that nudges new players in the direction of playing the game instead of getting sucked into the washing and leeching loop from the word "go" the hp bonus as you progress is substantial, especially for the squishy classes, this will help make the early game feel meaningful for the endgame grind, and further push away the necessity of washing. but, compared to all the quests that give option and freedom on your exploration, one quest is an outlier, quest 2 is the only one where it is mandatory to take part in a single pq to progress; LPQ that requires 6 players, LMPQ which is hella dead, and OPQ which is both of the former issues combined. (9 tasks, 7 required, 6 are not pqs) While I do understand the want to nudge new players to do pqs, doing these pqs at a high lvl and looking for a party just for this quest feels forced, and i bet that after the first hype wave, these pqs will very soon come back to being hard to arrange. The pq part will just become the bottleneck of the entire questline Because of all of the above, I suggest adding 1 or even 2 more available tasks for this specific part of the quest it can be something along the lines of: kill 750 upper ludi mobs kill 750 omega sector mobs kill 750 aqua road mobs complete "kenta's advice" complete the "In Search of the Book of Ancient" questline complete the "urban warrior" questline or anything along these lines btw, because the quest is about nudging new players in the right direction, making new players check out alcaster's quest for access to the alcaster shop, doing kenta's advice for faster pet, or pushing them to do some quests in nlc as a prep work for cwkpq has its benefits I hope the devs will consider adding at least one of these tasks, and again thank you for the cool questline
I’d love for some sort of adjustment to this step. Perhaps another suggestion is to change the amount of tasks required for the 2nd/3rd step. For example, part 1 is 5 tasks, make part 2 6, part 3 7. I think it’d be easier to just add an extra step rather than adjust another step like my suggestion.
yeah I second this. this one feels forced. and as long as I remember LMPQ doesn't work ever since 2015. either that, or REALLY dead.
Hey, we think it’s fine to ask a player to do 1 of 3 PQs one time in a characters „lifespan“ to progress though this questline and rather make Party Questing itself more rewarding by improving the Token of Teamwork system as discussed here. Thanks for your feedback!
