Feel like the player base of 51-70 is too limitied to have a strong presence for two PQs. Like when OPQ got the last buff it drove the final stake into lmpq. I feel like an option for OPQ could potentially be like LPQ, and making it level unrestricted for nostalgia experiences as well as helping lower level players.
Hensys PQ i think, I recall in gms, being one of the few original pqs that were unrestricted. Everything else has limits like kpq, ariant, mushroom kingdom, lpq, lmpq, opq, ppq, ellinpq, etc. LPQ is nostalgic enough that players would group up for, in addition glasses are seen as viable end game equipment. The original OPQ gloves were pretty awful I recall. I wouldn’t think it’d be normal to ask for a new reward for the 30OPQ Runs (i forget the exact number), but I feel like broken glasses are a huge incentive. Edit: If its open to suggestions. An OPQ specific reward belt? Or medal to flex? (Maybe also an LPQ medal) Edit:Edit OPQ bonus rewards is also worse than LPQ bonus in terms in droprate for ciders. Maybe you could increase droprate and/or include energizers which would be very good potions for newer players and balanced, unlike suggesting to drop narcian elixers or apples.
Provide better rewards in each pq? Or something where player can work towards achieving something out of the pq? Let's say do 1k time pq get a ws or cs or etc just a saying Also remove restriction of high level, after all it still takes time to level, no shortcut even high level player join to help the lower level one. Probably a little faster in terms of leech in pq
Imo each PQ should have its own pros. CPQ2's pros should be good exp since its more like grinding. LMPQ's pros should be good amount of potion and some scrolls like OVA int 10%. So if I were to add one pros to OPQ, maybe I would make the wristband better? Currently you can get 1 wa 5 slots glove after finishing 40 OPQ, I think its pretty ridiculous since you can easily make 2 wa 5 slots green mittens. I think its good if godly system worked on the wristband. I remember the bonus stage got worse after the new source, maybe reverting/buffing it is good too. And its a small thing but itll be great if you can fix the lag till cellions being summoned in storage and the lag till being tped in "on the way up"
OPQ/LPQ/LMPQ Definately died as theres is completely no benefits in participating in them. This is one issue which as of now GMs can easily target is by improving the rewards. Perhaps as discussed in this thread to include energizers Or an exclusive Royals Questline? This might be slightly broken, But still a just a random suggestion. Perhaps include another new questline that boosts the player’s HP. (Similar to the HP Questline from Ellinia) Instead of end game players buying drops or players grinding away @ ellinia for those drops. Make them collect certain untradable pieces in the boxes in rewards. Not only end game players will participate in all the party quest all around for them. But also boosts more player interaction. And of course, further targets “HP Washing Optional”
As people mentioned, the 51-70 lvl pool is too small for a private server that has increased exp. The amount of players that aren't going through leech in these lvls is honestly too small to consi1stantly form a party that's big enough for a pq. Reward wise, it isn't really impressive, not in exp or actual rewards. Which means that if you are in this small group of levels, and your choice is either cpq, thats accessible through multiple maps, shorter, and gives good rewards. Or go to a single map in an unpopular area, that requires a full and hopefully diverse party, for a meh reward. The only two solutions are increasing rewards, or increasing the max lvl of the pq. If you'll only increase the rewards, it will just take away from the cpq players, not ideal if you ask me. If you'll only increase the max lvl, the higher lvled players wont be incentivised by the reward. LPQ stroke a good balance of low lvl rewards and high lvl reward for repeated wins, if it can be achieved in opq it would be the ideal
We should increase the max level of all PQs, especially with the incentive of the PQ rewards for doing it multiple times. PPQ and OPQ are the only ones as far as I know that have a max level. Even KPQ allows everyone up to 200 to participate. I'm not saying that it will bring back people into it, but it would be nice to do the quests related to them.
It would be nice if it were possible to adjust the difficulty of the PQs and completely change their level requirements, because there are lots of PQs to do between lvl 30 and 80, but almost nothing to do but grind from 100 to bossing lvls. Many of my friends and I are currently building an army of lvl 81 characters because for us, that's where the fun ends.
OPQ actually already has some 'exclusive' quests. The Legend of Papa Pixie Requires finding Spiruna and completing Spiruna's Concern. You just gotta kill the boss at the end of OPQ. Reward: a random 10% weapon scroll ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) The Record of Goddess Minerva Requires going to damn Ludi to start it, then acquiring 10 diary pages from an optional portal at the end of OPQ. The pages are tradeable but you can only hand in the quest after completing a round of OPQ. Reward: exp and crappy scrolls ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°) can get overall INT 10%/60% out of it at least All of these become unavailable after LVL70.
I think 3 PQ is too many. OPQ, LMPQ, CPQ2.... So I recommend to lock two PQs everyweek. So everyone go to one PQ. E.g. Week 1: OPQ open, LMPQ closed, CPQ2 closed Week 2: OPQ closed, LMPQ open, CPQ2 closed Week 3: OPQ closed, LMPQ closed, CPQ2 open
They should each have different goals, as far as I'm concerned. Let CPQ give more EXP Let OPQ be more fun and give better drops (also maybe buff the reward for doing it multiple times) Let LMPQ be the ugly duckling after EXP was nerfed but do it for elixers
