You know what would be really neat? Having an item search function incorporated into the Monster Book. I think this would be really helpful, especially to people who are Card Collectors. For example, if you wanted to search your Monster Book for the monsters who dropped Tobi Stars, you could type in "Tobi" into a search box, and all the monsters that drop Tobi Stars would appear in the book, or just list the names of who drops them. Card Collectors will become walking encyclopedias! I know much of this stuff is already on Hidden-Street BBB and in the MapleRoyals Library. And this would not be a priority by a long shot compared to other stuff that needs to be done. But I figured I would throw this idea out there, and maybe one day, it could be looked into.
I mean, that's the purpose of the Maple royals library, though I'm not sure if it's still being updated. I understand the idea of wanting it in game for easier access, but I'm not sure if they'll consider this to be worthwhile when the original library isn't really being maintained (you can't search monsters, only items). https://royals.ms/library/
As a new legendary medal collector acquiree, (thank you, thank you, stop applauding guys, luv u all), yes
Heck, even just make the search bar work at all would be nice.... The search bar is supposed to help you find mobs, but it doesn't do anything atm
This I agree with. But I don't expect this stuff to be looked at for quite some time. Gotta stop the Hackers first...and help Grandma Benson.
It works, but you need to enter the full monster name including correct capitalisation. It’s going to be extremely difficult and probably impossible until a custom client to change the monster book search bar to work for searching for items. But I agree that would be better functionality.
