Solved [Solution Given] Cannot launch game ever since "MapleRoyals_Updated.exe was implimented

This started appearing for me this afternoon as well. I could log on to the server a couple of hours ago, and now can't and I'm getting the same exact errors.

 

Same here, could play for hours and suddenly the exact same errors..

 

I am having the same issue at the moment, waiting on a solution

I've been playing for some time today, now I wanted to log in again and the error messages came up.

The issue is windows defender, the malware "Scarlet Flash" which is a kinda older one (came out in 2017) was detected that is why you are getting the error. The exe is trying to move files on your computer and Microsoft thinks its that virus. At least that is what my Microsoft 365 defender is telling me, I have the paid business version so it details everything. Is it really a virus tho? No this team is supose to be good people, but it seems defender was updated today to look for this pattern you can get all the details on defender updates from Microsoft.

 

Just tried again and was able to log in but i did not do any changes to my settings...
