I'm heavily against it. Ellin forest was Ellinia in the far past, which is accessed through a time warp inside the ludi towers. That means that it would make 0 sense to be able to have a warp in it to the free market. Convinience is good and all as long as it doesn't completely ruin either gameplay or game coherence. Ludi is literally just 2 portals away from ellin forest and a town scroll, i don't see a reason to make the lore make 0 sense for a minor convinience.
Hi, we have discussed this, and have no plans to add a Free Market entrance in Ellin Forest for now. The area lacks graphical assets for it, there are several similar areas and towns in the game which do not have Free Market entrances, and we don't believe that every area has to have one. The area is in the past, and a Free Market entrance does not mesh with the lore. Thanks for the feedback nonetheless! Happy Mapling!
Agreed. Coherence and themes aside, quite frankly I don't see a reason for adding an FM portal to Ellin. No one in favor of this idea (in this thread or the linked thread about teleport npcs) has provided a good reason outside of the implicit minor inconvenience.
