As the title says, I wish that monster book would show you how much exp a mob can give you.
It can be useful when you want to compare exp/hp ratio gains between mobs, but don't feel like going to each place to manually checking it, or going to another site like hidden street bbb.
It would also be nice for bosses, as you usually don't solo them to know how much exp they really give.
It can be added to the second or third card picked up of a mob, and be right over where the hp and mp details are.

Would this exp include the multiplier of 3.2 x or the original (1x) amount as portrayed in the bbb.hidden-street?

the 3.2 x exp, as I think that if they'll impliment it, they would just pull it from the game's stats. also, why make people pull their calculator for every mob that they want to check? f3

This would require a client edit to change the lookup of the MP to EXP. If it's at all possible, then it would show the base EXP before 3.2x, I will ask Kevin about it.

    That's a great idea

Since players won't really need to know the value of MP
(only situation I can think of needing to know MP value is for MP eater I think?)

Monster MP is also consumed when a monster uses an applicable skill, however most monsters regenerate their MP quick enough, or have such a high amount of MP, that it never really gets depleted, and they always have enough MP to use skills.

Is there no way to multiply the exp value before its displayed on the MB?

Highly doubtful, as to multiply it would require inserting additional client code, rather than being a straight swap for the location of a particular value.

Being able to insert new code to the client anywhere would be a dream, and is one of the main reasons for us working on eventually releasing a custom client.

There is a way to not require a calculation of course, which is to just multiply all the mob EXP values in the WZ files by 3.2, and remove the 3.2 multiplier from the source code... However that would be a slightly problematic undertaking just for monster book.

It would also mean that any mob you add to the game in the future would need to be manually adjusted, and that potentially some mobs might get accidentally left out.
So yea, not worth it. Oh well it only takes a few seconds to multiply the exp in a calculator, so its not critical to the suggestion. as long as there'll be a way to replace the display of MP with exp, it will be all good :) . Thanks matt!
