Below is a table of comparisons done on a DPS Calc (https://royals.ms/forum/threads/damage-calculator-all-classes.123479/) Spoiler: TLDR on what the numbers mean If you have SI, this tomahawk is the easy winner of the 4 1h Axe is not to be slept on, because it is in fact equal if not better than most alternatives in most situations. The numbers does not even factor in Guardian procs which is also a DPS increase!!! If you don't have SI, it is still a competitive option among the other options that have been getting "more love". Most players are likely to have SI mules or party up with Buccs/corsairs often. You are more than likely going to have SI. Assumptions made: 1. If you're looking at an axe purchase, it's for a hero! So all assumptions is for the hero class only. (Not considering utility of 1h sword as heavily) 2. Average Level 150 character with ok-decent gear 3. Equal equipment (Cost wise) - All 1h weapons were calc'd with a 20wa/10str shield which is extremely affordable 4. Str/dex adjusted for ST to be able to wielded 5.
