There's been a lot of new people coming into Neo Tokyo due to the GFX fix that came with Update #65 and some changes for the people who were able to play in the area pre#65. So I wanted to know what people's thoughts are on Neo Tokyo since the update. Some possible questions: What do you like about Neo Tokyo? What do you dislike about it? What is your opinion of the bosses of the Neo Tokyo area (Vergamot, Dunas v1,... Auf Haven)? Is there any bosses you prefer or particularly hate doing? Also, do you find the exp and rewards for these bosses satisfying or not? Have you tried grinding Neo Tokyo mobs outside of the quests? If so, which ones and why? Is there anything you'd like to see changed/added in Neo Tokyo? Changes for Neo Tokyo (#65) in case anyone wanted to look over: Spoiler Improvements that will minimise the amount of graphical issues and crashes have been made to the client. Players should no longer experience visual glitches or client crashes during typical gameplay scenarios. Players should no longer need to take precautionary measures for avoiding graphical issues. For example, using a virtual machine, changing graphics at boss fights (i.e. gfx), or restarting clients before and/or after boss fights. Neo Tokyo Changes: Silver Coin drop rate from non-boss monsters has been doubled. Armor-Piercing Bullet now costs 600 Silver Coins instead of 800. Auf Haven: Added a chance to drop Chaos Scroll. Added 1 additional 5,000 NX coupon. Added a chance to drop Element Pierce Earring. Added a chance to drop Scrolls for Rings. Damage required for knockback reduced from 140,000 to 75,000. Touch damage has been reduced. Increased the drop chance of Miracle Scroll for Auf Haven Circlet. Miracle Scroll for Auf Haven Circlet changed from 5% to 10% success rate. Nameless Magic Monster Added chance to drop certain belt scrolls. Dunas (Akihabara) Added a chance to drop Clean Slate Scroll. Now has a chance to drop various level 100 weapons. Eruwater Chance to drop Red Pirate Blouse. Maverick V Chance to drop Red Pirate Skirt.
- Additional 1Weapon Attack for MTK to make Neo Tokyo a popular farming/grinding spot. - Improve drop rates of Element Pierce in auf haven. Other then above mentioned, i think it is fine as it is.
As Neo City had a medal as a reward for completing the entire quest line (I know Neo Tokyo and Neo City are completely different from eachother), It would be nice to see a new medal added. Ofc I wouldn't want the medal to be too overpowered or anything. Maybe like +4 all stats or something
in my an item disappeared, which is like a white screw, called a molecule or something like that, the problem is that without that I think I can't continue, and since I like that map so much I feel frustrated
wtf?? Ontopic: i think it's fine currently and a viable spot for anybody who's wanting to grind for EXP/Items at the mobs or do the bosses daily for bis endgame items, as it was supposed to be. The idea of buffing MTK to 31wa is interesting and might be worth discussing. Add the Lvl 115 weapons and give them a good bunch of HP but decrease their dmg for example for the dagger lvl 115 to 108wa so it's still a bit less superior dmg wise, but a choice for barely washed players.
Don't alter the WA of the stars, have MTK carry 1.4k or even 2k stars (double of fury), then you could (perhaps) justify the higher costs on MTK without having to nerf/rebalance anything else and the hassle that oomes with it. Of course if such thing is possible...
Been wanting to ask this for a looooong time, but whose (bad) idea was it to change the looks of MTK? The update made Neo Tokyo almost perfect, I'm just... ew at how MTK looks in this server. It's not nostalgic and I have never seen MTK look like this either. I hope MTK can be changed to look like how it is originally in the official servers, much more nicer IMO (See video below, timestamp 1:04 onwards. Video is from MapleSEA): - Also as you may have noticed, rush works in Auf's map (time stamp 0:55 to 1:02, or 1:43 onwards), so I'm not sure why it was disabled here. I'm fine with it though as the touch damage of Auf Haven has been reduced, but I think it (might) be better if they allow rush/corkscrew blow again because I feel currently warriors are almost useless here as they have no utility, getting ranged attackers is much more efficient and allows for faster killing. But again, like I said earlier, it's fine if rush is not allowed (just bc I have a nl hehe)... something to think about I guess. But PLEASEEEEEE change how MTK looks, that's my most important feedback here
